Well that likely would be for a 4th rounder at best then. Pass rush could be better. Maybe an Aaron Lynch if he goes that route. I would give up a 5th though because he's a free agent after the end of the year.

NE doesnt need another receiver unless Hogan is out for more than a few games, which I doubt and maybe maybe if Michell isnt coming back but really they dont need one.

They do however need defensive help.

Dunlap's a good player. He's worth a second rounder not to mentioned he's not making a ton of money.

The best mid-season pickups are usually lesser names that complement what the team is trying to do - not alter it. BB has been excellent at this.

I’m just going with what’s realistic. If you want to live in fantasy world go ahead. Just FYI there are NO reports out there from reputable media sources linking those players directly to the pats.

I’m not saying he isn’t going to acquire a big piece, but there are no links of any of those players to NE. People are just throwing names out there as of now.
