Coleman as of now is on the roster but if Jones and LeBlanc demand to be carried he is not making himself indispensable this preseason so far.

One of the reasons I as a fan like these joint practices is knowing Belichick is getting a close up look at the other teams depth and back end roster. He's not perfect, but I have complete faith in his ability to recognize talent he can use that other teams can not (for whatever reason).

And as Reiss pointed out in a recent article, Belichick has a history of making trades with teams he conducts joint practices with.

Actually, when they came to Foxborough a couple of seasons ago, we were on the train with a load of Bears fans and they were a very decent, respectful bunch. A little bit of yapping before the game, of course -- but none of it after they'd been well and truly Gronked!
