I know he's not an offensive fit, but damn if we could've got DGB for someone like Kline. I would've take him as developmental WR5. Immense talent but may be on his way to Dobson 2.0 anyway. Curious to see him in Philly.

The CB situation is getting more interesting every day. What I've seen and heard about this kid is impressive, and I hope he continues to improve. Makes me wonder about the entire draft evaluation process at times when UDFAs like Butler and possibly LeBlanc make an impact on an NFL roster.

It's always interesting to see which UDFA is going to play his way onto the roster each season, and that's just one thing I love about the way BB works: there are no free passes around here; you have to earn it.

Logan Ryan just had perfect coverage on Alshon Jeffery. Didn't matter much. Jeffery went up and took the ball away.


I am okay with this. The players on other teams get paid too but if you make them put together a string of very good plays in a row they usually fail.

If he could not crack the top of the depth chart in receiver-starved Tennessee, then I do not think he would have been a good fit here. Furthermore, the GM (branch of the NEP-Belichick tree) probably would have dissuaded Belichick if he expressed interest. Moreover, carrying this type of player meant possibly jettisoning a far more deserving, talented player at receiver and/or another position of relatively high competition (i.e. cornerback).

Your assessment of Dobson 2.0 seems fairly accurate in regards to DGB. Looks like Tarzan; plays like Jane type.
