I wonder how the gaps between the trips to SD and KC will be spaced. And won't that be NE's first game at Lucas Oil Stadium since you know when?

Nice that for AFCW the Patriots got the away games at the NEAREST AFCW location (KC) and probably the WEAKEST HOME FIELD ADV (SD). which puts Pay-me-a-ton coming to Foxboro bricks and the team doesnt have to deal w/ as much 3-time zone travel and obnoxious fans in Oak.

Bummer that for NFCN we got the TWO NORTHERNMOST [as away games] which are probably the HARDEST NFCN opponent (GB) and best HF adv (Vike) in that Div.

I guess it balances out. (hell IMO, the other 7 could all be away as long as HORSE-FACE has to come to Gillette).

I smell a 16-0

Re: 2014 Opponents Now Set

Awesome. I will be at either the Pats-Vikes or Pats-packers game.

Re: 2014 Opponents Now Set

So, on this list, which game that looks like a cakewalk will actually turn out to be a tough matchup, and which initially tough looking team will end up being 3-8 by the time they face us? Both things seem to happen every year.

My first guesses, the Raiders will hire Rex Ryan as their coach and will play us tough, while the Chiefs will be back to earth next year. Every year there's a team with a new coach that surprises everyone with a great year, and almost every time they end up 7-9 the next year. That's the Chiefs.

Hopefully we get to see the first real Brady-Rodgers duel!

Sorry Joey, you missed the follow-on press release:

Bob Kraft used his influence with the nfl front office to get Minny, GB and KC to all accept London Home Games next year.

Re: 2014 Opponents Now Set

Early plans have already begun for the trip to Lambeau Field. My brother and cousin once lived in San Diego so there is a good chance that could also be an option. I would love to catch a game in KC as well though 3 road trips is likely tough to swing.

Awesome. I will be at either the Pats-Vikes or Pats-packers game.

I have to go to a wedding in Milwaukee in mid-November and here's to hoping it is Lambeau that weekend...

aren't the vikings playing outdoor at UoM stadium for next two years? do they really have best HF adv in NFCN?

Re: 2014 Opponents Now Set

That's one brutal freaking schedule.

After clinching the AFC East Division title, as well as things shaping up in both the AFC West and North, the scope of the 2014 season came into focus on Sunday and it looks like the Patriots should have an interesting road next year....

I think the safest bet you could ever make is that Denver at NE will be in September or early October.

I'm trying to organize a road trip Pats/Packers at "frozen Lambeau Field"
It's a bucket list thing. Got two of my friends to commit so far.

Re: 2014 Opponents Now Set

First time since 2006 the Pats won't play either Baltimore or Pitt in the same season.
