Obviously theres the big line items.

Vince's 8 million (I think he stays on a much reduced number)
Connolly's 3 million. My guess is he will be asked to take a cut.
Sopoaga. Long gone in my opinion.
Kelly. Will be interesting to see how he heals up.
Slater/Gostkowski. we could free up some cash with extensions. Not too much to be found.
Mankins. Can some of the bonus move into 2015 and 2016 caps?
Adrian Wilson/Steve Gregory. hmm. Wilson maybe done for a 1 million saving. Gregory stays I think.

all to free up cash to keep Edelman, Talib and Blount. My guess is it will take about 10 or 12 to have them all on the books next year. Potentially a lot more back loading. Hard to see Talib not getting 6 or 7 a year given his inury status. Edelman will probably get Amendola money.

Then we will probably need to add depth on both lines and at LB.

It will be an interesting few months that's for sure. Have a feeling there'll be lots of changes in the off season.

please merge if theres another thread open.

Arrington needs to be restructured or shown the door.

And whats the likelihood of that? given the deal being one year old. It would cost team more to cut if he didn't agree to it?

Okay, people need to learn that you can't just cut any player you want. There are salary cap ramifications, and Arrington's contract is one that makes no sense to cut. So is Amendola's. If you hate the guy, then a restructuring does nothing except change which year his money hits the salary cap. Besides, based on first impression, it appears that Arrington may have given up the fewest plays of any of the three CBs yesterday.

Amendola is going to be back, as is Arrington. It's not worth complaining about. Saying you want to cut either of them is a complete waste of time.
