2010 Draft

I really doubt we look at ILB in this draft. Guyton has been servicable and is still growing into his role. Honestly I think he's more of a special teamer and back up but BB is cheap and likes to get the most out of what he already has.

We also have Tyrone McKenzie who projects to ILB in our scheme. Cant' see us taking a ILB in the top rounds

I totally agree ... unless we could somehow get Rolando McClain.

I think there are 4-6 blue chip players on defense:

1. Suh - top 5
2. Berry - top 10
3. Haden - top 10-15
4. McClain - top 10-15
5. maybe Morgan - top 10-15
6. maybe Heyward - top 10-20

I think depedning on where we end up in the draft that if we are in position to move up and get one of them we should consider it. Suh is out of reach and Berry is not a position of need. The other 4 players should get serious consideration, including Haden and McClain even though CB and ILB aren't needs as much as pass rushers and linemen.

The only guy in this draft that looks like he could replace Richard Seymour is the guy who will most likely be picked #1 overall.

Not sure of that. I think Cameron Heyward may end up being a better 3-4 DE (not a better player, but a better 3-4 DE). I also think Allen Bailey could be a terrific 3-4 DE.
