Re: We Might Think In Terms Of a 51 Man Roster

GOING OUT ON A LIMB

Given that our backup interior linemen are two of the injured Wendell, the almost useless Ohrnberger and the inexperienced Austin, I will go out on a limb and suggest that there will be at least one offensive lineman available on the day after the final cuts who should be considered an upgrade at OL.

I don't know about that. He seems to have more players in camp that he likes than he can keep. There are a large amount of quality football players who were FAs who signed late or not at all, so I don't know if someone else's 54th will be better than our own 53rd this time around.

Those moves have normally been for role players (blocking TE who rarely plays, special teamer who was surprisingly cut) so I don't think its something you can consider a rule of thumb.

Im starting to be concerned about Taylor Price and his lack of making the team from the tub, which caused us to work out Clayton and Houshmandzadeh....

Re: We Might Think In Terms Of a 51 Man Roster

It would a very sad situation if NONE of the three youngsters are deemed capable to be the #4 receiver. I think the #3, #4 and #5 receiver caught 3 passes per game among all of them in 2010. There will be few WR opportunities beyond Welker, Ocho and Branch (and Hernandez).

Im starting to be concerned of Taylor pryce of his lack of making the team from the tube, which caused us to work out clayton and houshmanzda....

Then again it could be 2 OL or 3. Did I mention it could also be 0 ?

In that case, we'd surely go with more than 8 OL, at least for a while. THAT bad our current guys aren't, so we're not going just with starters, Manieri, Solder, and a new guy from the outside.
