IMO King did a good job taking the interviews and creating a narrative about the great 4th qtr of Brady.

With respect to deflategate, He was IMO fair to the Pats (after being horrible on spygate. He was emailed about the Head Smart experiment, then when he was emailed by Palm Beach Pats Fan he called him and acknowledged that the forensic part of the investigation would be key. So he moved from assuming the PAts were guilty, to a position that Science could account for the pressure differential observed.

That is significant IMO and much more than most of the mediots would do, ie they failed to acknowledge the science after the story got out.

I've never understood the McDaniels hate, so seeing him get some public love is great—even if it is from noted PatsHater Peter King.

I occasionally enjoy King's work, but even at those times, can't not think "My god, this guy's a complete #$&(*&@&)@*)&"

I noticed this as well on one of several times watching the game replay. Even though Amendola is right there and no one else is an immediate threat, Thomas runs up next to Danny and then just stops, apparently choosing to sit in the zone over playing the only receiver in the area. Had he just kept going he would have been in perfect position for the pick.

Can't remember where but in one of the mic'd up videos Thomas is heard saying that he lost Brady and the football for a second behind the linemen. He still probably should have just picked up the guy in his zone but that's what lead to his hesitation
