I was hoping you’d say she was nice to him and he turned it around. It’s easy to continue being a miserable wet blanket when everybody dumps on you all the time. It becomes self reinforcing. It works that way for both positive and negative behavior. That’s why it’s so hard to get people to change, even if they try everybody else doesn’t change as fast and it pushes them back into bad behavior. Peer pressure works both ways.
To be fair, Sam posted a very good detailed scouting report on Kiner that pleasantly surprised me with the strength of the positives in the evaluation. I really appreciated it.
