This Offseason as fans I believe we all should be encouraged. Last season the culture Implementation and the Unexpected success has Re-established a winning culture where the players learned from winning as opposed to losing.

Vrabel went out and got guys to support Drake and The offense and On defense as well. Hear me out....

Vera-Tucker was an immense pick up and a huge need. Provided he can remain healthy the OL has been stabilized. R. Gilliam at FB super huge! A FB finally back in the offense that can move guys and help actually pick up a half yard on the goal line!

Hill the blocking TE was another nice pick up!

Romeo Doubs! A guy who is one of the top WRs against man coverage at 6'2 can run every route, catch in traffic and has the attitude and mentality to become better under McDaniels.

The defense... Dremont Jones was another nice pick up a guy who coveted NE and loves Vrabel. Who can play inside and outside and on all 3 downs.

Byard at FS another huge pick up! At 33 coming off an All pro season and hasn't lost a step. Perfect pick up!

The pass rush helps Drake and the offense by creating sacks on 3rd down, sack fumbles, INTS, pick 6s. Ect. This is what will help Drake and the offense have more scoring opportunities and keep opposing QBs on the sidelines.

Gonzo, Davis and Jones will be able to sit on routes and have much more opportunities to make plays on the ball wich was sorely lacking last year.

The Draft!

Caleb Lomu

a big physical OT who fills a need and will be the Successor to Moses if not sooner depending on camp!

Gabe Jacas ( my favorite pick)
A Jadeveon Clowney prototype who at 6'4 can play the run, the pass and set the edge has a relentless motor and projects to be a starter opposite Jones!

Eli Raridon

At 6'6 a athletic TE who can go over the middle and Go up and get it in traffic. Will learn from Hunter Henry and should play a nice role this season.

although we had other draft picks of course I'm just mentioning our top 3 as I feel they have the best chances of being most impactful this season presumably.

The overal depth Heading into mini and training camps is much better and Drake projects to have a better Running Game and a defense that gets pressure and gets the Ball back to him more often.

All these things Mentioned all Support top 5 QB Drake.

What Do you as a fans like best about our Additions?

Anything that increases the talent and depth of our offensive line. Linemen can and will get hurt. You have to have at LEAST 7 guys you're at LEAST comfortable starting and a few of them better be at LEAST competent in multiple spots along the line.

I know that's a lot to ask, but a decent OL really opens up your offense, making them all look even better than their talent might otherwise indicate.

Rah. Rah. I think we just won the offseason SB, supplanting the Jesters on the podium.

Sorry, RF2, I couldn’t help myself, I’m not used to reading so much positivity here.

It’s hard to not be optimistic since we were only a half game (3 qtrs maybe) of good football away from having another parade.
…..But I think usually only half your FA pickups work like you expect and this draft seemed focused on guys with great LONG-TERM potential, who aren’t likely to displace starters in Sep. So, good to be excited, but until camps start and we can see a LITTLE of what we got, I think the glass half-empty guys have about as much justification for their pessimism as you do your optimism.

Nah, even if the record ends up being worse, I feel more optimistic. There is way better depth. Like last year, any injury was going to be deadly. This year, I don't feel that way as much.

No worries there Gumby! I like what you have to say. Because you're right! Even being in the superbowl coming off back to back 4 win seasons wasn't on the most optimistic of fans radar.

But being a fan like yourself and having a chance to really analyze the team post draft and Pre AJ.. they addressed some huge needs OL and Edge.. the depth has been addressed and they got high character guys in free agency.

They project to be a better, deeper team. The pass rush should be much improved the running game should be much more sustainable as well.

The biggest thing they've done to help is clearly load up to be able to run the ball, a blocking TE, top run blocking guard and adding a top fullback. The Bills were terrible against the run last year and now switching to a 3-4 without a good nose tackle. I love watching Drake throw but excited for the running game this year. Best way to beat Josh Allen is keep him on the bench for most of the game. I just don't see Buffalo better against the run unless the rookies are outstanding.
If Pats Add AJ Brown, coupled with Doubs and the better run game this offense will be tough to stop. Let's not forget, weak schedule and all this teams scored more points than every team other than the Rams.

The Bills roster is suspect, lost a good guard, lost a good FB to the Pats. Defense looks no better. They are a Josh Allen injury away from a top 10 pick. If the Jets get a QB next year, it'll be the Jets as the main competitor to the Pats in the future.

Exactly!! Is why I feel the team is better simply by Exactly what you stated! Running the ball being up 7 in the 4th quarter with 7 minutes to go allowing Josh Allen or Joe Burrow to have to sit on the sidelines while the run game takes over!

Sorry RF2, but I reserve tickling my fancy for the Asian ladies.

It all looks great on paper.

The 2026 NEP schedule is clearly more difficult. You still have OL issues until you can prove beyond a doubt that you dont. Diggs still hasnt been replaced and its totally crazy to discount the impact that he had on the 2025 season. The first 1000 yd WR since Edelman back in 2019.

I just watched a rerun of the 2025 Packers vs Bears game # 15. Bears were losing 16 - 9 with 1:59 in the 4th. Onside kick was the best option for Chicago to win. The Bears kicked the ball straight to Romeo Butterfingers Doubs who bobbled the ball allowing Chicago to recover. Bears drive down with seconds remaining and tie the game sending it into OT.

Bears win 22 - 16.

We could say the same thing about the rams no? That butter fingers Nucua dropped a pass in the end zone wich is the only reason Seattle got in the superbowl. The rams scored all over thier " vaunted " defense.

The schedule never plays out how we think it will in the NFL.. will Mahomes be available? Will Burrow be available? Seattle doesn't have Kenneth Walker Jr. To bail out Darnold... so many other teams we will see with questions as well. If the patriots play well and execute they will have a chance to win each week.

I am not sure what you are trying to say here. You are saying Doubs is a bad signing as a starting receiver because he messed up on one (1) special teams play (not as a receiver) in one (1) regular season game for a different team?

I am not sure what you're trying to say here. You are saying that the trolling comparison is bad or that Triumph is a bad troll? I am having trouble distinguishing the difference.

Just pointing out that Doubs is another JAG. The KO was straight to him and when he choked momentum shifted to the Bears.

That Bears game had implications on post season seeding. Chicago did not win another reg season game thereafter and yet hosted GB postseason.

Now Drake Maye has to do his part.

Get better at reading defenses, recognizing pressure and coverages, control the offense better, improve against the best defenses at converting must have downs.

Doubs is a JAG because he messed up a special teams play? I am pretty sure Julian Edelman messed up at least one special teams play in his career. He was a JAG too.

Did anyone see Stefon Diggs or Jaxson Smith-Njigba in the Super Bowl?

No? Me neither… they were non factors.
