What do you say?

This team goes as far as Edelman, Michel and Brady takes them. Everything else is gravy

My guess is;

1. Josh Gordon gets reinstated after an 8 game suspension.

2. DT doesn't make it through to the regular season.

3. Gronk stays retired.

Gordon will contribute the most, how long he lasts is always in question.

Our 2019 receiving corps imo

WR

Julian Edelman
N'Keal Harry
Josh Gordon
Maurice Harris
Braxton Berrios
Phillip Dorsett

TE
Ben Watson
Jag

You forgot two more:

j/k... a little...

First off I believe Rob Gronkowski is really retired. Papers or no papers I do not believe he is engaging in a conspiracy or is faking his retirement.

Second I do not believe Josh Gordon will be around. I am not throwing rocks at him and I hope that he overcomes his problems. The Patriots simply cannot count on him.

At this point in time Demaryius Thomas is a wildcard. He could be Eric Decker 2.0.
It is likely that he spends some time on the PUP. How much time?,

I don’t think anyone should be suggesting that he isn’t *really* retired. That’s silly. What many are pointing out is that his agent would basically have him sign another paper, which means that he can pretty much come back at any time, assuming that it’s before the end of October.

In other words, he’s officially retired, but as we’ve seen in the past with tons of retired players, he reserves the right to change his mind at any point and the process to return is simple. For the record, I think he remains retired for the 2019 season and allows his body to heal, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear the same chatter again next summer.

We'll probably be hearing about his "unretirement" until he's 34-35 years old.

It'll be like Calvin Johnson...and eventually the hope will fade way.

Demaryius Thomas is toast and will not make it past training camp.

He has knowledge of the McDaniels system and sans Josh Gordon, we’re not exactly well-stocked with quality receivers.

It’s possible that they place him on PUP to start the season, and he starts to contribute after week six. The good news is that Harry will get plenty of opportunities in the beginning of the year, and that should help him pick things up.

Agree.

Thomas will be PUP'd or cut

Josh will return

Gronk will stick to whatever it is he is doing.

I loved him in his prime but I'm thinking he'll join the long line of veteran receivers who've come here at the end of their stellar careers and done little if anything ... Galloway, Ochocinco, Wayne ... etc.

I also think there's too much young talent at both WR and RB to give him much leeway if he isn't fully healed and capable. If healthy, hey .. maybe he can fill the TE role that the former #81 who shall not be named played ...

DT - PUP then return around week 10 if ultimately needed due to injury/poor play by 4/5th WR. - my guess is he will contribute but in a limited fashion (Jabar Gaffney level)
JG - Returns week 9 and has a significant impact (similar to last year)
RG - I suspect he stays retired but if not he returns around week 10 and plays a limited role until the playoffs as it takes a while to get back into game shape.

This is true. If those 3 are 100% healthy the Patriots will win most games.

None of the above.

Would bigfoot play tight end or do we put him on the line?

Think Thomas makes the squad and does okay..won’t be surprised if he retires in camp though. Gordon will be better whenever he returns. Gronk is done I guess, I dunno.

DT has 'washes out during preseason' written all over him.

I'd love to be wrong.
