Edelman, Harry and Dorsett are locks. Meyers with his size and hands makes it yet another year with an UDFA making the roster out of training camp.

Not much to argue about here, Meyers is an intriguing prospect..

As with many years, a lot of this 53-man roster will come down to health

5 RBs is excessive but there is no choice, Bolden and Burkhead's dead caps are pretty significant.

Just consider Bolden a STO player, and he won't seem excessive. The situation is the same with Slater, King and Ebner.

OFFENSE
There is no need to have Myers on the 53. Croston should be there instead.

Also might not be so simple getting Croston to the practice squad if some team wants to take a swing at him on their 53 roster for tackle help.

I was under the impression that Ryan Allen was one of the better punters, reliable, good at field position, etc. It would seem like the risk of moving to a rookie could outweigh a modest lift in upside. Plus Allen has a lot of big game experience at this point. Am I missing something?

worked out well for the Seahawks. There is a reason they drafted Bailey in the 5th

Belichick would prefer NOT to negotiate for a punter every year. A 4 year contract at a greatly reduced price would be a major plus. And yes, our ST coaches might take a bit of time to bring Bailey up to speed. I would note that he was among the very best in the country.

Sure, he might be picked up.

However, the larger issue is that the other 3 OT's all have or have had injury issues. We need a 4th OT.

As much as I think that Croston sucks, I absolutely agree that we Must start the season with 9 OLman, including 4 OTs, even if all of Cannon, Wynn & Cachoo are (relatively) healthy.

Nice to see Mister Anderson included in the projection, even if I didn't hear his name mentioned at all during any of the mini-camp reports.

So with Anderson in, then Meyers should be out; and unless he has an Austin Carr-type of TC & preseason, he should also pass through waivers unclaimed.

Mo Harris needs to show me something when the pads are worn - and other teams' players start covering him - before I become a believer.

Really, really pulling hard for Derek Rivers, Christian Sam & ObiWon. Lots of youth/athleticism there, but no production so far. They are all on the outside looking in.

Surprised that Terrence Brooks wasn't included. Unless he sh!ts the bed, I think he's in.
