We're On To Jacksonville

I'll be on Jet Blue next Sunday. Do their TVs display live network broadcasts during flights....ie....the Pats game on CBS?

Exactly how I watched the last time we beat the Ratbirds in the playoffs. So - yes.

If you post anything other than glowing praise of the Patriots and fearless, divorced from reality, bravado, you will be called names, told to kill yourself and stalked by a bunch of infantile, broken fools.

Outside of the game day threads that go in the opposite direction, this forum is like the old SNL "DaBears" sketch. Kellerman may have been on to something for once.
You are such a goddamn crybaby and THE worst poster in the forum.

Go find a safe space and coloring book.

Seriously? Why the hell would they do that? Talk about creating an advantage

Not saying you're lying but, I won't believe it till I see an official FL statement on it
I’ll try and see if I can dig it up. I don’t remember off hand which thread it was located in. It was an official spokesman from the NFL addressing the issues, but I share your skepticism for common sense purposes, too.

If Bill thinks the OL won't be able to hold up against the pass rush, I can see him pulling out the gameplan from the 2016 game in Denver, when the Pats exploited a weak run defense with a run heavy attack and game management. They should have similar success, since Jacksonville's run defense is pretty weak.

However, the Jags' pass rush isn't the same as it was earlier on in the season. They've been running on fumes for the last couple of months.

I see this shaping up a lot like the game against the Texans last year in the playoffs - very tough first half, not much running room, pressure on Brady...until the Pats switch up the routes and protections on offense and coverages on D after seeing what they're doing.

I don't believe it. You don't step as a WR in this offense in the championship round of the playoffs when you haven't played for an entire year and have an impact.

I hear what you're saying and it's not an ideal situation, but his cumulative time with Brady, height, and recent practice time may make his potential limited 2 game role more valuable than what Dorsett has to offer.

That's a bold statement, top 3 for sure, lol...

The Patriots have small receivers who are not named Antonio Brown, unlike the Steelers, and the Jaguars mailed it in against the 49ers. I'm sure that Tom/BB/Josh will work hard on a game plan, but we've seen this offense get limited/shut down time and again, over the years.

Cooks' s one of those guys that has to learn to run different routes and be a more complete wr.

I saw this too on this forum. Complete ********. How do you break your agreed on convention to give one team an advantage like that in the Super Bowl??

Fournette is injured though. Wasn't effective and had no burst after the ankle injury. I would like Mitchell and Burkhead ready to go though. If Marty weren't hurt I think he'd be helpful if Ramsey is on Gronk.

Chris Ivory is no slouch. The Pats had issues with him when he was with the Jets. TJ Yeldon is good out of the backfield catching passes as well. Maybe not as good as James White, but still good.

On a separate note:
I am appalled at the attitudes of experienced posters on this board. People thinking that just because Jacksonville gave up 42 points to the Steelers that they somehow don't have a defense. The Steelers are no slouches even if they are poorly coached and have crappy attitudes. Roethlisberger and Brown and Bell are a handful. You add in Schuster-Smith and Bryant and that's a load for any team, including the Pats.

Players win games. Coaches can lose them, as we just witnessed. Coughlin will not be on the field.
Coughlin builds the team. We've seen that he has some knowledge in how to build a team that can give NE a fight.

Yeldon can be dangerous coming out of the backfield
What are you basing this upon? Yeldon has always be a thoroughly mediocre receiver as a rb.

Yet the patriots were better than the Steelers in every offensive statistical category this year.

From what I saw today.
Really the first Jax game I paid attention to this year
