Some juicy stuff in this thread.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist!

Hold on a second.........I'll be right back....

OK. That was close............I thought I heard choppers hovering above my house. Just in case I'll type the rest of this OP from my security bunker.

Some of my favorites:

Ratings are down this year across the NFL.

First SB overtime ever? Coincidence?

Conspiracy theories, hmmm:
Atlanta changed their signal calls between the new england drone video taped practice and game time...... it took New England 3 quarters for their nerd core hackers to figure out the change in call signals.... once the key was unlocked it was all Brady.

Ohh another one:
Due to the halftime show opening the roof.... just enough cool air entered the stadium to deflate Tommy's balls to his desired pressure.

Agreed. They missed a clip block. The 50/50 hold call on the Falcons. There was another one too I forget. It's been rigged for the Pats. It's all politics. and the "Patriots" winning.

The refs played little part in this. But, man oh man, how did the side judge not see the blatant facemask on Sanu??? If he throws the flag there, it becomes offsetting fouls on the hold, and then who knows: the Falcons likely wise up and run the ball, kick the FG, and win. And I don't think a single penalty was called on the Pats in those final 20 minutes.

The Patriots took the game away from Atlanta on many levels. But the Falcons got no help from the officials or the field turf that was 1/2 too short to render Edelman's catch incomplete...or the damn coin.

A couple more:

Atlantas playbook went missing earlier in the week, a reporter mistakenly walked off with it (how does that even happen?)

Ryan had to call a timeout to switch helmets because he lost comms.

Hmmm :hmm: :lolol:

I've gotta go for now. My motion detectors are tripping. If you don't hear from m...............

The first 3 quarters were a FALSE FLAG operation designed by the Patriots to lure the Falcons into thinking they had safely hidden all their secrets and signals. But the Patriots knew the whole time and unleashed it at the end for maximum confusion!!!

Even other fans in the thread are saying why would the NFL rig it FOR Brady and the Pats?

Hey, it's all part of being a fan. Heaven knows this board engaged in a ton of conspiracy theories about unfair advantages for Peyton back in the day.
Oh we would NEVER EVER claim the NFL had it out for us on this board.

Hahahahaha, the GRASS!? Really? The GRASS!?!? Yeah, they knew that the Patriots (and only the Patriots) would have a catch so miraculous that only the fricken TURF could stop it, so they cut the grass shorter to make it happen.

I'm sure it was tongue in cheek, but you KNOW some dinknozzle who'd spent 40 years wiping steel flicks out of his nostrils is sitting in his Franco Harris jersey reading that and thinking, "Ya know, dis guy right here, he makes a right lotta sense there."

Most important post in this whole thread. Why would the NFL, and therefore Goodell WANT to hand the Patriots the trophy, nevertheless hand Tom Brady the SB MVP trophy ? Rigging in the Patriot's favor is the DUMBEST thing I ever heard. Oh wait, I forgot, Goodell and Kraft are in bed together, and Kraft probably agreed to let Brady get a 4 game suspension, IF Goodell promises to rig the SB for the Pats, that's what probably happened (according to the haters pea brains).

<puts tin foil hat on>

I believe this train of thought comes from what Vince McMahon did in the WWE back in the.. 90's? Vince played the part of an out of control owner and going against crowd favorites - even getting in the ring himself multiple times. Ratings skyrocketed...

<takes tin foil hat off>

Nonsense.

Not suprising, steeler fans live in their own delusional world of conspiracies and ignorance. Ive never met a steeler fan that brought a good debate to the table, all they shout is cheat cheat cheat with no facts or explainations to back it up.

If there's a conspiracy, they should look no further than Mike Tomlin. Why aren't they questioning the fact that their coach uses the same defensive game plan time after time? Why has Brady not thrown a single interception against a Mike Tomlin defense? But why am I even wasting time and characters on this? This is the same fan base that believes BB orchestrated the release of Blount so that he could re- sign with the Patriots. Damn, the Patriots really drive people crazy. I LOVE IT!!!

You clearly have never read any of llyold's posts. Great insights, articulate, and reasonably unbiased. Wish every fan base had one like him that posted here.

Steeler/Colt fans are pretty awful yeah. I kinda edge it in favor of Steeler fans being the worst due to personal fouls committed against them being a war crime....but personal fouls committed by their team being good hardnosed football.

And punch them in the mouth must be the only five words they can string together at once because that's basically all they say.
