They are laughing at people like you who are so scared they want to throw a game.

you mean like Belichick..

try harder friend
Belichick would not throw a game because he is afraid of who the 6 seed will be
You are the scared little girl

The poster responses seem pretty level-headed.

This. We can beat them, even in NE, but they don't fear anyone. When you've won 4 SB's and make it into the playoffs every single year, you don't fear any team out there. NE is probably the most confident team in the league.

i think it us that should fear them. when's the last time we beat them when it mattered? Not that we can't, i'm just not very confidant

Have you looked at the Steelers history at Gillette Stadium since Tom Brady has been QB for the Patriots? I'll give you a little hint... it's not very good. And it's not going to get any better, any time soon.

Oh puh-leeze. The Patriots fear the Steelers? HAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHA

Only way Steelers make it to the LI dance is if Patriots get knocked out in the division round by KC, Miami, Balitimore, Tennessee, Houston or Oakland. Similar to 2010 when Jets upset them. If the Patriots are hosting the AFC Championship vs. Steelers... I'd bet the house, kingdom and continent on the Patriots.

We have their number.. BIGLY
I'll fear them when they beat us.

When have the Pats ever feared the Steelers? The last time that was the case, they were still making leather cases for cell phones.

Maybe the author was surveying a couple threads on this forum?

The answer is never. And while a healthy respect for a competitive team with a good quarterback is good policy, that defense is pure apple sauce. I'd love to see them in Gillette to bolster TFB's playoff stats.

No he did not.
Watch the name calling. No need to dovthat just because you are wrong.
Your opinion is greatly outnumbered, in fact I think you alone in it. Also, you started the name calling, idiot.

so belichick lost in purpose by scoring TDs on the last 2 drives including a 2 minute drill?
It's not an opinion it's a fact.

Obviously you know you can't hold up an argument so resort to name calling. A true sign of weakness, as expected from someone who would think throwing a game is what someone who plays competitive sports would do since you clearly never played competitive sports yourself.

The specifics are a little fuzzy to me, but pretty sure the Pats preferred the Jags that year and played accordingly. Drop kicks and whatnot.

No. BB rested some players. 3 or 4 seemed meaningless.
Cassell drove the team for TDs in the last 2 drives of the game including a 2 minute drill. Then down 2 he threw a bad pass on the conversion. Conspiracy theorists decided he chose to go all out to get to a 2 point conversion to tie then decided at that moment to lose in purpose because you know cassell never threw a bad pass.

the other Jets fan in mommy's basement...

Ahhhh, it just dawned on me that it was probably someone I have on ignore. I just checked and it is.

The drop kick though....
