We got 78 and 112 from saints

You don't reach in the late second round when you didn't have a first round pick. But hey, what do I know

Aaaaand ESPN goes to commercial. In the past I said 'meh it's coincidence'. Now, this year when it's their first pick after the Deflategate BS, they don't even mention the missing pick, don't even acknowledge the Patriots picking at 60 then jumping to commercial?

Come the **** on, I'm so sick of this.

Why former NFL cornerback likes Cyrus Jones' draft stock

If somebody is going to say something, it's going to be about his height," Taylor said. "But you just have to look at Tyrann Mathieu. But we're always talking about football players -- what a football player is. When you're dealing with a football player, you take away height, size and speed. You put on the tape and you watch how effective they are and can they contribute consistently. And that's Cyrus."

Versatility will also help Jones' stock.

His four punt-return touchdowns in 2015 make him a threat on the third phase of the game. And with just 53 roster spots, multitasking is crucial in the NFL.

And Jones plays with the kind of edge Taylor says is required in the big leagues.

Yup, he's a Patriot, all right.

Decent trade.

Belichick took Jones over both Redmond and Fuller, so that's saying something.

Fuller was considered a mid 2nd rounder, and Redmond is considered a mid 3rd rounder. Jones was considered roughly equal to Redmond. So this isn't really all that early for Cyrus Jones.

I mentioned on the draft board that Cyrus Jones was a slam dunk pick for us but that I was in denial. Welp. It happened. I guess I'll survive.

Jones is good punt return insurance if we cut Amendola.
I feel like they say a lot of guys are going to be good returners and we ultimately never see em back there. Is he fast or just real elusive?

As to why they keep going to commercial when New England is on the clock, it helps them because it means they don't have to talk about how they have no f—ing clue what Belichick is going to do.

I love play makers and the guy is definitely one.

I am bigoted vs all outside CBs shorter than 5-10.

The talking heads like the pick.

Hes a return guy as well.

We'll see
