It wasn't meant to be funny. The year of the Hernandez fiasco many here were lamenting a better time when all they had to fret over were Gronk's off-season antics.

In hindsight the whole Gronk/Hernandez off-season/free time situation is just so bizzzare. People wanted Gronk to be more like Hernandez during the off season, because we could see Gronk every where in the media, and Hernandez basically dissappeared. Then it turns out that Hernandez was still running around with bad groups, and himself being a very bad part of this group, and then murdering three persons.

Gronk got another movie role!!!

Rob Gronkowski grabbed his badge and his gun to play a cop for the new flick, "You Can't Have It" -- which stars Joanna Krupa and Armand Assante.

Unclear what the movie's about -- but Rob ain't the only Gronk with a role ... his brother Dan Gronkowski also plays a cop.

It's a big move for Gronk who previously told us he's into the Hollywood scene -- and at the very least, he's flirting with the idea of becoming a movie star after his playing days are over.
