In defeating Buffalo, we also had to overcome our own propensity for penalties, some of them egregiously bad. We rank #2 in the number of penalties so far in the season. Is this a coaching thing or what? There needs to be a focus on correcting this going forward. https://www.nflpenalties.com/

So now that cutdown has happened for all teams, who are the names we should be paying attention in the next few days? We could use help on the OL, TE, and a FB would be nice.

Cut downs are near at hand. What are our positional weaknesses and which team have an abundance of riches in those areas that might have to be pared and placed on waivers? We get to pick fourth in the waivers process.

OTA's start Monday. Will be interesting to see veteran attendance. I would expect close to 100% given the new coaching staff. OTA dates: May 19-20, May 22, May 27-28, May 30, June 2-3, June 5

What will the Patriots do at 4? Not what you'd do, but what will the Patriots do? If trade, with who and who would they then draft with the new position in the first round. My prediction is Will Campbell for all the reasons that have been discussed here.

There seems to be a lack of faith in Caedan Wallace, but he broke his leg in only his second start week 4 of the season and only returned for the last two games of the season. Does't seem to me we have enough of a track record to pass judgement.

A lot of our discussion has assumed Abdul Carter would be drafted before Travis Hunter and that Hunter may fall to us at 4. But what if Hunter is taken first and Carter is availabe at 4. We've already built up our defense through free agency, so do we take Carter or a LT at 4?

I've been really impressed with Travis Hunter at Colorado. What other draft prospects catch your eye for the 2025 Patriots draft.

Interesting to see Tua open up on his view of Flores. Yet he was a very successful defensive coordinator for us. Was there ever any feedback from our defensive players that matched Tua's take?
