QB rankings according to coaches, executives and scouts

Kermit have three SB rings and played in Five SB's unlike his overrated peers.
By that logic the top slot should be TB12.

But that list should be at present. To my eye at least three and maybe as many as five of those ahead of Maye are there for history not present level of performance. Kermit is a question mark, but Dak and Lamar are past their prime for sure.

I think a year ago all of us would have signed up for Maye to be #8 and there's no reason to think he's hit his ceiling already. Could also make an argument that this is too low.

Kermit Mahomes is #2 on reputation only and nothing more. He stunk last year and the refs weren't helping him anymore.

Maye was actually #1 last year.

Funny how some of us Pats fans forget.
Back in the day when Brady was winning his first SBs without gaudy stats, and Manning was rewriting history books, we all rightly pointed out how Brady was a winner, and that’s all that mattered.
Now probably many of those same people want to pretend Mahomes isn’t a top 3 NFL QB.
I am not a Patrick fan, but dude is a proven winner and I have no doubt he will continue to be a winner for many more years.
Maye is ranked in about the right spot, but has the ceiling to climb much higher on the list.
You have to have context. Best career and best today are not the same question. Mahomes has not been the same qb the last 3 years. They have become a defensive team with an average offense.

Stafford, Burrow, Herbert, Maye & Goff should All be placed higher than that ****ing Maggot... And higher than Prescott too; and maybe even higher than Jackson...

The Worst WR in Patriots history throwing shade??

That should've been called a TD on the field; but because Bill somehow ran himself out of challenges, the call on the field stood even though replay showed that Harry had very clearly scored a TD.

Lmao. That is all.

This.
Peyton manning was a bust of a draft pick for the Colts.

One ring in 13 seasons with one of the most loaded offenses in nfl history.

7 one and dones? Even josh allen laughs at that..

We're at the point where keeping score doesn't even matter anymore.

I don't think a QB needs huge playoff success to be on the list, but I would not include guys in the Top 10 that have lost more playoff games than they have won. Jackson, Prescott, and Herbert might be regular season warriors, but if a QB craps the bed repeatedly in the playoffs, it is hard to say they are in the Top 10.

Herbert? Really? 0 - 3 in the playoffs? Never won a playoff game. Herbert should be #5? One of the biggest playoff chokers ever? ************.

I wish people would stop sharing his tweets - the entire point is to piss off fans (especially, it seems, Pats fans) enough that you share it.

Phil or Chris Simms? I'd probably give more a think to the list if it was Phil.

Legacy always plays a big role in exercises such as this, with that being said Burrows and Hebert may be a tad too high.
This might turn into bulletin board material as confident that Vrabel knows the value of playing that card.

I really want to see Maye when he has time to throw - which didn't seem to be much of the time last year. Anything in the 6-10 range right now is great for him. Takes a couple of years to really prove it beyond that.

I have a different perspective. I think he is already one of the best long ball QB's, but it's the 6-10 where he needs to improve. Maybe it's not his throwing but his recognition.

If it took them 10 years, Mahomes would be pushing 40. Tough to have rebuilds/droughts 8 years into your career. Brady lucked out with a team and coach that got him 3 in 4 years, then they went soul searching for quite some time, getting close here and there. He was only 37 going into that second window.

While I personally don't give a **** and revel in the fact, it must suck total ass to have had Brady in your way at the beginning of your career like Mahomes had. Brady was the dam that held back multiple trophies for Mahomes.

I think Brady had a body type and a playing style that was built for stamina. Taller and stronger than Kermit. Thrived on quick decisions with quick releases. Better pocket presence so better protections. Obsessed with working on his body both via diet and exercise.

We'll see how Kermit does bouncing back from his major injury. Tom really only had the one bad injury and he still played another dozen+ years and won four more Super Bowls after the injury in 2008.
