It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I would guess the patriots don't want to break new ground and give over market guarantees and/or they won't give guarantees to a player that wasn't transparent about his injuries.
Who says he wasn’t transparent?I would guess the patriots don't want to break new ground and give over market guarantees and/or they won't give guarantees to a player that wasn't transparent about his injuries.
Who says he wasn’t transparent?
The fact that he is the only 2nd Round picks without a contract. Only non-QB in first 2 Rounds not signed. Why would there be a contract standoff otherwise.Who says he wasn’t transparent?
The Pats owe Jacas $2.75M at signing. Since Jacas can not practice, a cheap owner might delay signing the player to put off making the $2.75M payment until such time that the player is healthy. The fact that he is the only 2nd Round picks without a contract. Somebody somewhere on the internets had an out-loud thought that it might be a possible reason. You have a problem with such well established facts?Who says he wasn’t transparent?
Agree, or if he failed to disclose the extent of his medical issues and now the team/owner is pissed...The Pats owe Jacas $2.75M at signing. Since Jacas can not practice, a cheap owner might delay signing the player to put off making the $2.75M payment until such time that the player is healthy.
I agree. Either the guaranteed payment is being delayed or they are upset because of the extent of the injuries, like Jacas' team might not have said he was going in for a procedure.Agree, or if he failed to disclose the extent of his medical issues and now the team/owner is pissed...
Now its fully on the Pats to have evaluated his medical situation before drafting him, but if they feel Jacas was hiding stuff, I am sure they are not thrilled and not looking to do him any favors.
Tone? Really?Vrabel's tone... and he oughta know...
I can think of many reasons. Why would it be worth it for the team to not sign him because of that? To prove they are mad? Come onThe fact that he is the only 2nd Round picks without a contract. Only non-QB in first 2 Rounds not signed. Why would there be a contract standoff otherwise.
Tone? Really?
So you are a mind reader and can determine things that happened from time?Yes, really.
Do we know this to be the case, that he wasn't transparent?I would guess the patriots don't want to break new ground and give over market guarantees and/or they won't give guarantees to a player that wasn't transparent about his injuries.
it's going suck if he's a TC Holdout: that doesn't bode well for Patriot Rookies.About 3 weeks from commencing TC anything new on Jacas?
Haven't seen any news on him in a while now.
Rivers was a Reach just like Mapu: BB record in the Third Round overall is as abysmal as his WR Drafting. If this keeps up during training camp, he's going to fall too far behind - even with the JAG's.
I don't want this turning into a Shawn Crable situation.
@captain stone remember Derek Rivers? That was another guy who was hyped up, but couldn't leave the ice tub. Not an Edge guy, but Tyrone McKenzie was another player who barely played. Cameron McGrone was a big whiff this board was hyping up recently.
Are you going to post about BB's WR drafting for 2 more years? 5 more years? 10 more years? Just wondering.Rivers was a Reach just like Mapu: BB record in the Third Round overall is as abysmal as his WR Drafting.
