That’s awfully generous considering they were 0-3 against those teams last year, one of which was a 42-19 shellacking against State.

Funny how Bill always has to keep in kayfabe instead of being honest that the snub was a shock to him. And that would be understandable.

63. Bill Belichick, North Carolina​

This is a fascinating result to me. Bill Belichick not only drops nine spots in our rankings after a 4-8 debut with the Tar Heels last season, but he's the only other coach besides Stanford's Tavita Pritchard to receive last-place votes. He got three! That's right, the coach who won six Super Bowls finished behind a coach who has never been a head coach at any level and was only 13 years old when Belichick won his first Super Bowl with the Patriots. I genuinely don't question my fellow voters' rankings too much, but I have a very difficult time seeing the logic behind those decisions. 2025 rank: 54 (-9), High: 52, Low: 68



I take it the author didn’t watch UNC last season or the Patriots in 2023 if he has a difficult time seeing the logic of why these voters are not impressed with Bill. Not sure what 6 Super Bowls (all with the GOAT Tom Brady) have to do with how Bill’s team looks now.

Belichick now coaches in a League where the “scrubs parents” are often more powerful than he is.

So congratulations to Bill on being the smartest guy in the room. Of course, the room is empty because all his players left to go elsewhere.

Bill has turned into quite the excuse maker since he shoved Brady out the door in NE.

And if a bowl appearance in 2024 is "base camp" then what was last season? Mariana trench?
