Complaints about game tickets (etc) are being echoed as far away as Australia...

The cricket grounds where the game is being held holds 100k ... 151,000 signed up for the chance to buy tickets... Game sold out quickly, with ticket prices ranging from $390-440 +/- ($560-630 Australian)

Of those 100k seats available, i wonder how many were actually available for sale (ie how many did the NFL hold back) and how many were bought by fans vs reseller ticket bots?

In the US, I'd bet real money that Live Nation / Ticketmaster buy the majority of concert/event tickets for their web of reseller sites in order to maximize profits... wonder if that's the same down under... or in europe...

For those who have attended international games, same stuff happen to you?

Low availability, High Prices, even Higher Resale Prices? or has it gotten better because the international games are an annual event by now?

After the first year or two the games in London are fairly easy to get tickets for if you're fast and know when the first batch are released and are ready and waiting when they go on sale.

There has been 3 games a year in London for basically 10 years now though, Australia is so much further and much more complicated travel that this is probably seen as more of a one off event so will be inflated prices and much more of a resellers market more like a World Cup ticket.

The chances of Australia getting multiple games a year are basically zero especially if there's complications with travel and timezone, their ceiling would be one game and even that seems unlikely.

Did roos and crocs buy all the tickets ?

Will sheilas still be able to take their barbies there ?

I just can't believe that the first game of the NFL season is in a foreign country. That boggles my mind.
Second game of the NFL season, however I agree with your point.

The NFL is going International.

I figure the expansion will start in Mexico and England for the first 2 International teams as the NFL expands to 34 teams.

World Cup soccer tickets are also outrageous.

Starting at $900 and not even for the top teams.
