Assuming the bots are ready (totally unlikely this year) the problem is how do you program a deterministic device with the word salad open to contrary interpretation rules for pass interference, offensive holding (called every 2nd play?) and what is a catch?
In reality these are neural nets, trained on millions of video cases. Given that, the bots would likely be just as bad as the refs.
Optimi could be much easier programmed for MLB, especially strike zones.
Let's not ever consider today's NBA with touch flop fouls and traveling galore.

The 1st way to improve officiating would be to fire Roger Goodell.
The 2nd way is to send every official back through a remedial rule book review reminding them that thinks like Pass Interference can't occur on an uncatchable ball. And that the defensive player has as much right to the ball as the offensive player.
