2026 Pro Days

So is he capable of covering TEs, RBs and some WRs? The 3 cone doesn't seem to match his reported struggles changing direction in man coverage.
He'd work in zone covering the middle of the field. Hard to fit a ball to a WR over that height and those arms. He's a longer, slightly bigger Marte Mapu basically who offers more as a pass rusher with that length. i'm still not clear what his position is though. Developmental MIKE/WILL?

Some interesting developments from the Georgia Tech and Arkansas pro days yesterday.

1. My guy TE rohan Jones who I thought might run sub 4.5 ended up running a 4.75. Very disappointed. I'll keep him on my likes list but relegated to likely UDFA.

2. Also at the Arkansas pro day, we worked out Mike Washington. More details in the meetings thread.

3. At Georgia Tech, we sent a bit of a crowd, presumably for Keylan Rutledge and Haynes King:

Finally, the New England Patriots had three people on hand, including assistant offensive line coach Jason Houghtaling, quarterbacks coach Ashton Grant, and Tony Kinkela, director of college scouting.

Dan Villari or punter Jack Stonehouse. Apparently there's been a lot of interest in his pro day.

I'm sure.

He didn't run his forty at his pro day (or at the combine). That worries me too much.
He did have a 6.85 3-cone which is pretty darn impressive at his size. A little less worried now.

Some big pro days this week.

Today.

Georgia
Ole Miss (Stribling)
Penn State
Stanford (Roush)

Tomorrow

I'm keeping my eye on Memphis and Travis Burke. Do the Pats send any decision makers there?

Friday

Michigan (Derrick Moore)
Missouri (Zion Young)

This is about the time that Vrabel, Wolf et al start attending pro days.

They finally added T. Burke in PFSN (345).
