After selecting Nate Solder Thursday night out of Colorado, it appears that the Patriots will use him as the first piece of the puzzle in trying to rebuild an offensive line that lost right guard Stephen Neal to retirement, and also faces uncertainty on the left side with Matt Light and Logan Mankins. Mankins had the franchise tag placed on him, but it remains to be seen what direction those negotiations will take, and Light's a free agent. Belichick said they plan on working him in at left tackle, so he's clearly going to get an opportunity to play this season.
