Typical bargain basement shopping from Krafty Bob. Plus, just like I said when they signed Davante Parker, Doubs is a concussion guy and he'll probably miss 2-6 games every ****ing season....absolutely awful ****ing signing and a waste of $. A bad character guy - quit on his team and flew the coop and got suspended for it. And Krafty Bob raised ticket prices and he has a joke of a FA period. Awful, just awful. Doubs ****ing blows. He's no more than a 3 or 4 and the Pats are loaded w those guys

We would need him to:

A. Not drop off at all performance wise.
B. Not get injured (he came off an acl the year before)
C. Stay out of off field trouble, stay a healthy presence in the locker room.

I just doubt all three were gonna happen.

I’m not expecting a huge jump in production but if he can produce at the rate he did in GB it will be a solid signing.

Tyreek? Still out there. I heard he started walking again the other day. That would be super high risk - plus, he's an ******* I would have a hard time rooting for.

Diggs back? I like Diggs on the team...not so much off the field. There were a couple of shining moments from him, to be sure. 32 years old and would have cost a lot? Probably worth it for next year.

Who else was out there? Evans? Pass. And a bunch of guys like Doubs. They got one at a reasonable price. he's 25, has 21 tds in 4 years, runs a lot of routes and runs them well, has improved his drop rate year over year.

You want to improve that WR room? Give Drake Maye 3 seconds to throw.

They need a TE now. And I really wish they'd get an impact LB. I think Lloyd is gone. Is Chenal (sp) still there? The fit for NE is too perfect.

Doubs is going to play a lot more slot than I think people realize.

It's funny, the "usual suspects" in this thread are the same ones who were crying we didn't draft Doubs in the first place.

As of now, Pops is still #5 and Chism is still #6.

Douglas has a level of explosiveness that many of our WRs do not have.

Not Hollins, not Boutte, not Doubs.

He's much quicker than the rest of our WRs.

I know WIlliams is faster but I haven't really seem him exhibit any quickness yet.

Which is fine. Unless the play is to dangle Boutte as one of the players going to the Eagles this doesn’t make any sense. Even then you’re going to have to figure out now how to make the Brown contract work.

I could see it! Hollins may also play some slot. It's a neat concept, deploying a "jumbo slot". I think McDaniels may make full use of it.
