Patriots Rumor Tracker / FA Signings (Updated: Signings in OP - 4/7)

So you don't think a soon to be 24 year old WR: who have shown he can play in this league is worth that??
He fell off a cliff so badly last year, they had to trade for Slowkobi Meyers and give him a pay bump.

I've finally figured you out: this is just a shtick
You post what you post because it makes you laugh sucking all these people in.
Right? Because no way you actually believe any of the stuff you post.
Do you see who Drake Maye's peers are throwing to?? Legit #1 or #2 WR's but he's throwing to bunch of 3's and 4's that you'all think he's going magically morph into ELite Players like Brady. Keeping living in your worlds.

When @Ian is the one calling you out, you really should take a step back and think about what you're saying..

Thomas is a 23 year old who has shown that he's got issues. Why would the Jaguars go and get a 29 yr old Myers if Thomas was playing as good as he's supposed to? Why would the Jags be shopping Thomas considering he's got 2 more years PLUS the 5th year option on his deal? They must think that he's trending to being irreversibly broken..

Thomas saw his drop numbers jump to 10 last year on 42 fewer targets. That's a HUGE concern. He also saw his catch rate drop from 65.4% to 52.7%. Not to mention his TD receptions drop from 10 to 2.

Doubs at 20 million is not a good signing. He’s not even an upgrade over what they have. I’m not sure why people are fawning over a possession receiver who has been mid for his career.
Not fawning over him, but he's fine. Top flight WRs are going to cost 30m. I don't think it's ideal, but getting The Guy is going to cost a ton in either cash and or assets.
Be careful what you wish for: it's said only Kyle Shanahan can scheme J Jennings open. I'm not a Huge Fan our our current OC.
You're not a fan of the best OC in the league huh?

Overrated Brady made Josh.

What are the thoughts on what the Patriots have done so far?

You're the one living in a fantasy world, dude. You're so oblivious to what the Pats have for receivers because you want the "SHINY" that other teams have.

Newsflash for you. Boutte is a Legit #2. Williams is still developing, yet you're acting like he's garbage. You're like the spoiled brat who has to have every the toy that the other child has instead of being satisfied with what you have.

Guilty.

No matter what website about the pats I visit people start arguing and getting personal each year at this time over WRs.

Reddit, patspulpit, here. The pats suck at drafting WRS. Theres only a handful of guys that worked out and half the time they get injured.

Yall are arguing about sending a 1st to the jags for BTJ? Wtf?@? Seriously.

Mayes on his rookie deal. We can't wait around for AJ brown. The wr room is horrible in NE right now. Something has to give.

heard no rumors about Pittman but he's gone.

We played this same dance last year with Godwin. Mohammed sanu for a 2nd. Antonio brown when hes on the scrap heap. Josh Gordon.

Its malpractice. So I really don't give a **** what the pats gotta do to get a good wr #1

Yep I'd go for a 3rd and maybe a later round pick swap. Thats about it.
I honestly wouldn't offer more than the Pats 4th for Thomas. There is something wrong there and the Pats may not be able to help him fix it..

You better hope Maye can carry him: he couldn't in the SB.
Gotta love people like you who think that Maye failed in the SB while ignoring how badly the O-line failed..

Learn to comprehend I wasn't taking about Maye: I was referring to Josh McDaniels.

“developing into their third-down weapon who was equally as impactful blitzing the quarterback as he was dropping into coverage”

Well that’s an odd thing to say about a player who had 5 coverage snaps on third down last season.
I think that's the opposite of what Chenal is lol
