Patriots Player Departure Tonga To The Chiefs. Dead To Me now!

He was good and will be missed, that's the bottom line. Looks like the Chiefs are reloading; I expect to see them back in the playoffs and dangerous as usual. We got a one year break.

He was great in his limited role with the Pats last season. He deserved a raise, but I'm OK it wasn't with us. Remember he's no kid and on the wrong side of 30 I think. Plus we have replacements like Durden and the rookie who are ready to be his replacement.

Yes. I’m happy for him. That kind of money is a big step up for his career earnings. He came in here as a kind of a niche player, really broke out by expanding his repertoire and taking on new challenges like playing FB. He way overperformed expectations, caught attention, and benefitted from the Super Bowl aura to cash his big payday. Good dude, did everything the right way, and earned that payday. I’m happy for him, and also happy that he can be the poster child for Vrabel’s effect on journeymen NFL role players. I’m sorry he won’t be back but happy he got his payday and glad we’re not cutting the check for it.

I think we will see a significant jump from Farmer in 26'. The kid has everything it takes to become a very good pro.

RT as weak. They would really have to consider Iheanachor or Miller if they are there.
I wouldn't rule it out but they have a lot of work into first round edge, that has to be favourite right now. They could sign one today though. I have a feeling they might push RT into next year. But our draft position and RT value in the draft with Miller and Iheanachor certainly lines up well.

Good for him. He was fun to watch. Don’t know about that contract

Yeah, has a hell of a backstory and enjoyed some of the things he did here.

This was too rich for us, but I'm glad he got his cookie.

If the Chefs are going to be paying at around this price point for that level of talent at that age...then I hope for more of that. Love that for them.
