I think we will sign one more edge guy, resign chaisson and hawkins or sign mafe instead of chaisson and be done ! Maybe Some mid level vet as LG. Maybe the Pittsburg guard. We will save 20-25 million in cap space for mid season trade if need be.

Draft will be

RT, ED,TE,WR in this sequence and then remaining picks will just be high potential linemen, NT and safeties.

Who wants to play for the Raiders right now? They need to overpay to sign a high profile FA.

They had the cash and need to improve their Oline. This may end up being a good deal for them in the end.

Protecting your rookie QB is top priority and getting the best FA oline available shows They want to protect Mendoza.

Smart signing IMO even if they had to overpay to make it happen.

Brady isn’t running the team. He is a minority owner with no role in the front office.

I always find it funny how alot of fans tend to focus more on the price of a player and less on how that player makes a certain team better. The price is always the first thing alot of fans dial in on which is hilarious to me. The market is what the market is.

That Linderbaum deal sounds like he didn't want to go to Vegas because they suck but they just forced the issue to where he had to. Makes sense why they'd want a stud Center for their rookie QB.

To put this into perspective - on a list of the top 25 highest paid offensive linemen across all position groups, ZERO of them were centers, and around 20 out of the top 25 were tackles. Until now, where Linderbaum is now around the third or fourth highest paid offensive lineman in the league, period. This might be the biggest overpay of all time.

I have to guess guys like Christian Darrisaw, Jordan Mailata, Charles Cross and Trent Williams are going to be asking why the hell they are making less money than a freaking center.

The 3 years prior in NO with Carr he averaged between 15-17 ypc. Yeah it dropped significantly last year in that 11-12 range but could be due to the rookie qbs in NO. It could improve with Maye.
