Patriots Rumor Tracker / FA Signings (Updated: Signings in OP - 4/7)

Read that Mike Evans plans to sign elsewhere. I'd be excited about him coming here if it was 2022 but now... eh.

Liked Pierce and obviously he played his cards right with all his comments to get the most he could out of Indy. Truthfully I want OL and TE first. The TE’s are very important in Josh’s system. We have Henry as the receiver type TE. We need the blocking/receiver type in FA. I do believe Wilson is going to play Center. Go get a good Veteren LG to sandwich between Will and Wilson. A good swing lineman is much needed incase of injuries, but that could be via draft.
Probably get some WR via trade because I am not sold on the FA crop. I hope DE also even after Dre’Mont Jones which is more OLB/DE which was a need

He killed us in the Super Bowl.

But the season to season production wasn’t as heavy as I thought. Not sure what level he’ll be going forward.

I’d rather they have him than Jeremiah Love.
You get better cost control if you use the top 10 pick on a more premium position than RB i guess, Walker getting 28m guaranteed over 3 years.

If they can hit on a player who can play at good level at CB for example they're much cheaper and get more assets that way rather than than keeping McDuffie and drafting Love.

Depending on the money why not? Still a huge target and would be a great Redzone threat which we lacked last year

I kinda agree, but he's 100 and always injured.
I agree he’s ancient, but started 16 games and played the third most offensive snaps on his team last season.
