Casual people who come here and scan the board are looking for new happenings or recent developments. Mega threads are where things tend to get buried, and I've moved posts by people who were kind enough to post a news report into their own threads.

@SammyBlueCat did a good job of that by posting the thread on "Seattle players having a tell" in its own thread, rather than burying it in the postgame...

Except there is already 2 different threads talking about players being released and such. So no need to clutter the board with more.

I see no reason to bring in a back who will be 30 by the time camp starts/ends

According to the stats on the left hand tool bar, I've used it 209 times.

Doing so leads to much contentment, IMO.

Far better than rapping other people's knuckles, IMO.

Agreed... but the idea of a veteran short yardage, role player is intriguing though..
 
With as short a career as RB's are likely to have, I'd like to see us pick up a prospect mid-draft. I could also live with a reasonably priced free agent, if there are any, to give our present duo some competition. We have a good pair, but not a great one, and certainly not a consistent one, imo.
 
Fwiw, many Bengals fans did not care to see him leave, and that's when he still had juice.

Better, Younger, Cheaper... Lan Larison!
I really think he could be RB3 - he's a more athletic Rex Burkhead, and JMD could use the heck out of him.
He also seems more versatile than Hendo.

Not only that.. but.. we have guys from last season like lan larison already on the roster.. we'll find a guy late round or UDFA or some teams cap cut.. camp cut.. so, so many options to add a RB..
