If true, the Eagles are doing the Pats a favor like Aiyuk and Ridley did.I saw a rumor on Blue Sky saying the Eagles turned down a 1st and a 3rd from the Pats for Brown. We’re on to Pierce.

AKA get the deal done before Alec Pierce can be signed and ruin any leverage.
I mean…Brown is a little different than Ridley or Aiyuk. Those were the guys that aren’t elite but we’re going to get that elite money. If true, the Eagles are doing the Pats a favor like Aiyuk and Ridley did.
They can fkn keep that loser, I want no part of a malcontent with bad knee making 30M.I generally agree but I find it hard to believe Roseman would actually take anything less than a first round pick for Brown.
Roseman probably doesn't, but his coaches are likely in his ear telling him to get the headache off the team. Brown's agent is definitely doing the same.Sure, but I’m not convinced Roseman really wants to trade Brown anyway.
Rickey scoops is back!
He's right more than he's wrong, had Parsons, had Jakobi Myers. He's been more accurate than Schefter for sure. Does seem to get the Patriots wrong more than any other team, however.....Has Rickey ever had a real scoop? I feel like he got one thing right once years ago that probably came down to dumb luck and has been completely wrong on every call ever since then, and deletes his tweets/account every time.
I don't agree with this thought process. You have to look at the type of WR he is. He averages 20 yards/catch. If you have a guy who averages 20 yards a catch and you start ramping up his volume now you're talking about a Randy Moss type WR who will get more than $25M year which is barely top 15 salary at the position and probably won't even be top 20 by the time you're halfway through the deal.If he gets 25+, he'd better be more than that weak ass 47 receptions.
Patriots have not been succesful with signing top tier UFAs even when offering the most money.. Trade is a sure thing. AJ is a #1, Pierce is a 2.If I am pats why will I entertain any brown trade till Monday . And if aj Brown is forcing his way out. Eagles don't have upper hand.
Just offer the second rounder and take it or leave it . Alec pierce for 25 million aav for 4 years seems enticing considering there are no draft assets to expend. And I don't think it's a gross overpay . If we build in suitable incentives we are covered.
Only competition would be 49ers and chargers. But nobody throws the deep ball as good as Maye and he would be the defacto number 1 here.
It's the trade compensation plus the salary that bothers me. Brown isn't that guy to put a team over the top and he's nearing 30. I'd rather invest in the OL first and get more value at WR with Pierce.I mean…Brown is a little different than Ridley or Aiyuk. Pierce is same age as BrownIt's the trade compensation plus the salary that bothers me. Brown isn't that guy to put a team over the top and he's nearing 30. I'd rather invest in the OL first and get more value at WR with Pierce.
Sorry, I thought it said 28Alec Pierce is 25 soon to be 26.
He runs much more than 9s, because that is what the Colts primarily had him do does not mean he is not capable of more. Below is his Matt Harmon breakdown, reception perceptionSorry, I thought it said 28
But still he only runs go routes
