It's easy, and only takes a few moments. We probably fill in QB3 late day 3.Considering the money, I am guessing Dobbs will be cut to save a few million in cap and DeVito is the QB2 going forward as I have been expecting for a little while.
About $1M in dead cap and $4M in cap savings. They are basically paying DeVito about the same money they paid Dobbs. We probably fill in QB3 late day 3.
What’s the savings on cutting Dobbs?
That and maybe drafting a good guy for development that won't be a headache like Joe Milton.Considering the money, I am guessing Dobbs will be cut to save a few million in cap and DeVito is the QB2 going forward as I have been expecting for a little while.
I am guessing there will be some un-athletic but smart QB who falls to the 5th or 6th that McDaniels loves and they'll take him and let him develop slowly as the 3rd guy. That and maybe drafting a good guy for development that won't be a headache like Joe Milton.
I know we don't wanna see a 4th round draft pick spent on a QB but if the value is there, some guys fall on the draft board for different reasons.
That said I have no idea how good is this class for mid prospects.
Guys like Klubnik, Robertson, Cole Payton could be good fits for this role. That and maybe drafting a good guy for development that won't be a headache like Joe Milton.
