I wouldn't be that excited about this trade if I were Buffalo. We'll find out if he returns to form playing with Allen.

They aren’t dumb, they have a plan, and I guarantee it’s not “let’s sign Pierce and keep our Oline the same”!

Rain this is one of those moves where DJ still has speed and can get downfield still... he just so happened to go to the best QB in football...with Cook and those deadly TEs..

Their TE's are meh, but I don't think Buffalo is done at WR. I think Allen had a talk with Ownership and let him know that things have to change.

Moore won’t be enough to move the needle for them very much. He’s a step up from what they have but that’s it.

As much as they need WR help, they need to focus on defense. Put a stud pass rusher and a better secondary there, then you have a bigger threat to the AFC imo. Too much focus on what Allen wants is going to bite them.

They've needed both for years, but chose to neglect them.

Agreed.. well against us maybe thier TEs look deadly.. we can't stick any TEs.. Allen is just sensational.. he carved up that Denver defense in the playoffs even though they lost..that's where I conceded personally to anoint him the best...

Wanting to improve something and having the availability to do so are different things. At any given time 30 or 31 teams want to imporve their line.

Their TE's are just way too inconsistent. Bills absolutely should've won the game, but that's been their excuse for a while which was why Pegula had to make a change.

Agreed.. I believe the defense was aged and thier draft picks busted on defense.. and Coleman at WR as well.. it was a matter of time for McDermott anyway.. I have some family in western NY and cousin was telling me how McDermott is an odd duck personality..

Couldn't help myself and watched a bunch of DJ Moore tape. Would be a great #2 receiver. He's a good player. will help Buffalo for sure. Alec Pierce tape was another level from DJ Moore though.

I would have liked Moore for a 2nd.

In a way this kind of sets the market for WRs this offseason. If the Eagles are willing to trade AJ Brown for Moore level compensation then I might consider it.

The one question id have about his struggles in Chicago is what if he just didn’t connect with caleb? From all I’ve seen moore can ball, hard to imagine hed just fall off altogether at this age

I wondered the same about kmet whos production has dropped too the last couple years. I know they had loveland this year but im wondering if kmet just needs a change too. Which btw i think hed be among my favorite te targets if the bears release him.

DJ Moore is not going to magically fix their WR issues, they need more than that... Moore is better than Brandin Cooks (who is off the roster now, a free agent) but he's not an elite player. He is a very good #2 as others have said, which is what he was to Rome Odunze in Chicago. But unfortunately Buffalo doesn't have that #1 so he will be forced into the role of the #1 and I'm not sure how that will go. Meanwhile, Joe Brady's playcalling will likely suffer while trying to figure out how to be a head coach at the same time and also making sure to do everything Josh Allen wants since that's the only reason he got the job, and also they might lose half their OL to free agency. So...

It is interesting that they chose to spend so much money on a WR, and a 2nd round pick, when they already have cap space issues and need to re-sign their starting LG and C. Interesting priorities...
