NFL News DJ Moore to Buffalo

Share the latest NFL news from around the league here.
I would like the Pats to have gotten him as long as they got Brown or Pierce too. I wouldn't want him as the #1.

Don't like that the Bills got him. They haven't had a good WR since Diggs. He could turn back into a 1300 yard WR (although that year was skewed by a ridiculous game of over 200 yards).

Little too much concerning tape for me last year and his productivity dipped.

I think he still is young enough, where he has WR1 upside. But I’d bet against him getting back to a 1300 yard production.

Good get by Buffalo, but not sure he totally solves their issues. Still, it is an improvement for them.

Your move, Vrabel and co. It's an absolute fail if they don't land one of Brown/Pierce (or something out of left field like Jefferson ofc, but that's unrealistic). Cannot go into the year with Boutte as your #1.

I don't want to hear any excuses about how the player's wife didn't want to be here, "we made a competitive offer", they didn't want to play in a cold climate, etc. Get it done.

****, thats a good move. We need to get maye a better interior line and a similar weapon

All three? sounds a little expensive

I would think they jumped on this so the Pats couldn't. I am not sure its a good move. He will average $24.5 mill for the next 3 years. I am not a Moore fan and did not want to see him in Foxboro anyway. He seems on the decline to me. He will be 29 next month and just had a poor season. He has not broken 1000 yards since 2023. I think Diggs is a better investment.

They need Brown at this point tbh.

Time to trade for AJ Brown, sign Pierce in free agency, and then sign Buffalo's left guard and center away from them in free agency too.

AJ Brown is not happening prior to June 1. His dead cap is $43 million, which would put Philly over $100 million in dead cap for this season. Thats 1/3 of the cap. Its just not happening. If they wait until after June 1, Philly can split the money into two years.

Free agency has not even opened yet and you are starting this crap already? Come on.

What did they give up?

Good, i had no interest in DJ Moore.

The Bears didn't draft Loveland, Odunze and Burden in the top 40 in back to back years cause DJ Moore is good, DJ Moore is actually someone who's clearly on the decline.

The Pats and Bills both need a WR1, DJ Moore is just another #WR3 with potential WR2 flashes nowadays.

ESPN notes they can make moves to absorb that. And they're going to take that $44M hit no matter what; it's just a question of when.

I thought that posters assured us that BUF couldn't afford free agents like Moore.

Buffalo must have known they couldn't afford Pierce's asking price.

Yeah, if they just cut Diggs (after probably his most stellar character/leadership on field season of his life), then they probably don't want to risk another aging potential diva like AJ Brown.
Go young & hungry - Pierce with a rising core group of Boutte/Williams and Hollins is still a vet leader who can produce.
