Imagine if the Patriots had Legit #1 or #2 WR or a Apha TE *Gronk lite* we have neither. It's hard to gauge a guy when he playing behind guys who are marginally better. The Patriots Need a #1 whether at TE or WR: we need that guy to make our role player better Diggs is NOT! that Guy.

Right, but Grigson is a decent GM. Good GMs don’t typically have two guys they have to tag. It just seems odd how much they screwed this up. Then again, it’s the Colts, so I like seeing it.

Disagree. What this means is they made a stupid decision to franchise or transition tag Daniel Jones instead of Pierce. Simple as that. The Giants made a similar decision with Barkley and Jones and lost Barkley. I think the same thing will happen with Pierce. Pierce is a perfect fit for Drake. It would be an immediate upgrade to the WR room replacing Diggs with Pierce. I for one hope it happens and I think there is a very good chance that it will.
Well this is how it should be. Id rather Brown because of the track record but Pierce is an upgrade over anyone they have.
Brown’s track record as a problem child is concerning. Pierce’s track record is more encouraging imo.
