2026 Draft: Interior OL

It should come as no surprise, but I've watched every single snap of Schrauth's career. He's very heavy handed, plays nasty, moves well and has exceptional awareness. Lunch pail type of guy who doesn't get overpowered and will mix it up with anyone. Hard to really say what his RAS will be, but he's athletic enough for sure. He just rarely screws up, a model of consistency with great raw power. Probably not an All-Pro but I would be surprised if he doesn't turn into a quality starter in the NFL. Might need some development due to losing a significant amount of time to injury. Durability is a concern.
What's the score with Charles Jagusah for '27? He was getting a lot of buzz pre-season as a potential first rounder this year but then broke his arm pre-season. Is he that good?

I think he has first round potential at both tackle and guard, but the forearm fracture was open and he's had a couple setbacks due to infection, so it's hard to say when he'll be back and whether or not it will affect him long term. He's unlikely to play in the spring (in fact he may have already been ruled out for spring practice, but I'll get confirmation either way) so he'll probably be behind heading into fall practice.

If healthy, though, he's a beast. Not quite as dominant as Quenton Nelson but honestly he's not that far behind. Great size and length, athleticism, with a serious nasty streak. Came in 4th place in the Illinois State Championships as a freshman and won it with an undefeated record as a junior and then couldn't compete due to injury as a senior.

That's where we run into problems. He's had multiple injuries that have kept him out for most of the past two seasons. He was in line to start at LT heading into '24 and then was injured for the regular season, returned in the playoff and looked amazing. Was the starter at RG heading into '25 and then had the ATV accident and arm fracture. That was a freak injury but as I said, it remains to be seen if it will impact him when he comes back.

Outside of the injury problems, I think he's as good as advertised. He also carries weight extremely well and is very proportionate, so playing at 335+ is very doable and I don't think he'd lose any athleticism.

If he comes back and plays a full season at close to full health, I don't see any way he isn't one of the top 5 OL on the '27 draft board. He'll likely play guard, but he might get a shot at tackle depending on a lot of factors.

Thank you for that. He's someone I'll follow closely because he was getting rave reviews for someone who had only played a handful of games.

#31 for a LG. Seems reasonable. Vrabel has picked a 1st round guard a lot higher than #31.

Campbell - Pregnon - Linderbaum - FA Guard AVT/Jenkins/?? - Moses
Linderbaum and Pregnon has me feeling all tingly. Think Onwenu sticks at RG though. But that is instantly a much much better OL situation

I really do not want to see a rookie beside Campbell.

I tend to agree. Although I’m more comfortable with a rookie that is actually a guard rather than a C moved over out of necessity.

Is this true or your assumption? They said they picked him to play guard.

It is true that he was the Georgia starting C and that was his primary position in college.

He was a C at Georgia but not your point above.

I’m confused, I’m pretty sure that was my point. I’ll reread my post a few more times, it I am much more comfortable bringing in an actual guard in the draft, rather than a C that we move to G.

My point above is I’d be comfortable with Pregnon at LG because he has played guard. Wilson was C in college that we moved to G. So he was a little behind the curve from the beginning here.
