2026 Draft: Interior OL

My point above is I’d be comfortable with Pregnon at LG because he has played guard. Wilson was C in college that we moved to G. So he was a little behind the curve from the beginning here.
He was drafted to play Guard. He was not drafted as a C then moved to G out of necessity.

We'll see how they feel this year. They backed Campbell. No public Wilson comments.

That’s interesting. Never heard where they said he was drafted as a G. Just assumed they drafted him at his natural C position.

Campbell/Proctor/Lindebaum/Onwenu/Freeling.

Thats what I need in my life

I like it but how are you planning to get Proctor and Freeling?
I was playing around on the draft sim and the only way I could manage it was to add our 27 first rounder to our 2nd rounder this year to move up into the 20s.

Expensive, but if we had an offense line in the SB we could be on ring 7. Im in the do what it takes to protect Maye camp. I think Proctor at guard helps tremendously.

I don't have the patriots rushing usage for outside zone vs power. So my issue is that Linderbaum seems better suited for a zone scheme and Proctor seems better suited for a power Scheme. So I would be concerned that Linderbaum would have the same issue as Bradbury did in the run game. Wilson might have the same problem. My biggest concern is below.

I am not saying that Bradbury is better than Lindy in the following, just voicing concerns.
I also find it concerning that Linderbaum's PFF pass blocking is roughly the same as Bradbury and slightly better than Wilson. Linderbaum gave up more pressures and more sacks than Bradbury and had more penalties on fewer snaps.

Imo David Edwards should be the move if we bring in a high priced OL because he is more well rounded but he is 3 years older so maybe we don't go that route.

Next year will be a better and deeper draft.

I don’t think the pats should be willing to give up a first in 27 for anybody in this years draft. Next year is loaded with talent and with the amount of QBs that should be at the top of the draft it may really force top end talent down that wouldn’t normally be there.

We met with him at The American Bowl

He's not been high on my list because I really want a people mover on the interior OL and I don't think Bisontis is that. He's a very good pass blocker though.

This is why I like Bisontis.

Strength: Recognizing and picking up stunts and blitzes

The stunts and blitzes seem to kill us, see Wilson, Sow, Robinson. Bisontis is 330 lbs. Quick feet especially for 330. Not a road grader like you say but not getting bull rushed. With a bit of strength I think Bisontis is a winner.

I have been high on Bisontis all year. I think he will go high, but if he slips a bit, I'm game.
