The offense played crappy in general, 3 & outs about 5x in a row. But if Gonzo makes that pick at the end of the half and if Drake doesn’t fumble on that scramble, it’s 9-0 in the 4th when we finally score, so a 9-7 game. Even tho it didn’t feel like it, we were in that game till the fumble.

Plus on the pick 6 when it was 19-7, if he’d gotten that pass off he had a receiver open deep along the right sideline to make it 19-14.

I thought McDaniels stunk. And he seemed to get worse as the postseason went on. Zero adjustments.

Vrabel is a great defensive HC. But he needs to start keeping an eye on the offense more.

ST's wasn't as good as Seattle's.
No adjustments whatsoever.

This is what I’m trying to say but you said it better. It didn’t feel like he had the dawg in him today. I barely saw any emotion out of him. It wasn’t a good look imo
By this age, I think Brady had knocked up a supermodel, dumped her, and was banging Tara Reid. Might need a heel turn out of Maye and less wholesome milk and cookie moments with Ann Michael.

I’m mostly kidding.

What happened to Barmore and Williams dominating.seattles allegedly weak interior ? They didn't show up for most of the game today

This graphic aligns with what our eyes told us, but there were several times that he had 3.5-4 seconds. I think that he was worried about the pressure and it threw off his timing. I know we love the big plays but Maye needs to work on taking the short stuff. He had open plays and just missed.

Actually it was infuriating…Milton DID get pressure a ton but ran right past Darnold. To Darnold’s credit he was the opposite of Maye and pretty masterful at moving around.

I really would have liked to have seen a few sequences where they shifted Campbell to G and brought in Lowe. I just want to see, because Lowe did a decent job in Campbell's place. I know he was ass last year but the injury cannot be ignored.

Yes you could be hurting Campbell's confidence but I don't think letting him get bullrushed right back into our QB was exactly beneficial either.

I just don't get how you see his play this postseason and don't build contingency plans in. Stuff that would have potentially yielded benefits when the game was still well within reach in the third quarter.

I'd be lying if I said the whole playoffs---and especially the SB with good weather -- weren't a disappointment on offense.

That said, this wasn't a "we went all in and whiffed" situation. Maye is young and there's cap space. The window literally just opened this year. Always hurts to miss an opportunity from so close but there's good reason to look forward with this bunch.

Tone of the game was set early. Seattle has a difference making RB that made big plays with any light. We stopped him plenty, but when he got a corner or a seem, he made us pay. The defense played as could as could have hoped. The offense was incompetent and was so flat early, they tired the D and provided zero confidence to build any kind of momentum off of. Drake is going to need a rest after these playoffs - so composed and accurate all regular season, he was an absolute mess the whole post season. While there was plenty of pressure, he missed a number of open targets by a ton. So much I wondered if he was hurt.

Look Seattle was significantly more talented and today was better coached.

It happens.

What I DON’T want to see is this team miss the playoffs next year. This can’t be a the peak.

Team needs some seasoning. Rookies on the line, Maye is in year 1 in McD's system. If they lost in the divisional round we'd be positive about Drake's progress and say he was on the up and up. Losing in the Super Bowl shouldn't change that. Guys have won in their first year in a system but they had experience. Drake is in year 2 and a rookie in this system. I hope he takes the offseason and works on a weakness and if he's still ignoring check downs next year, I'd be concerned.
Good points

#2 offense in the NFL.
Literally people here will complain about anything but the best of the best.
Easy schedule. They outscored the Jets and Dolphins by a combined 80-20 to end the season to skew their point total and give us false hope. They scored 67 points in 4 playoff games (16.75 points a game). Maye didn’t play well since those 2 games.

Because that's how this offense found success all season. And Maye had a hard time doing otherwise. McDaniels had to pull trick plays from trick plays out of his ass all post season to even get us here.

One of the brightest spots of this entire season was McDaniels' playcalling, it was phenomenal, and I'm willing to bet when the All 22 comes out, we'll once again see that McDaniels schemed open opportunities for Maye.

I mean, you've been watching football for a long time, longer than me: what "creativity" even exists when you have bad OL play and a young, inexperienced QB who is having a hard time seeing his moments?

You wanna call for heads this off-season? I don't think anyone would be wrong for calling for better OL players. Now, finding them is another battle.
Mcdaniels was way too conservative. Just heard the post game echo my comments. Hoyer said vs Seattle's two high she'll they needed to be able to run, which they couldn't or run the short pass game vs their zone - which they didn't do either. Maye sucked too, believe me. I never tho the O would be this bad. It was eye opening. The offense scored 16, 21, 10, and 13 in the post season. They're playing a much tougher schedule next year.

Tbh it could be. I’m not saying it will be but we’ve seen many players come and go who were one year wonders or never got back to the Super Bowl. Let’s hope Maye isn’t one of them.

This was a really pathetic SB especially for the loser.
