The New England Patriots’ unofficial free-agent recruiter, Matthew Judon, was back at work on Monday, this time with his sights set on attracting a familiar face back to Foxboro.
Over Twitter, Judon noticed a Stephon Gilmore question regarding hotel check-in/check-out times and made sure to say that if he returned to the Patriots, he’ll always get late check-outs.

Gilmore, of course, previously played for the Patriots from 2017 to 2020 before his trade to the Carolina Panthers last October. Although his initial departure wasn’t ceremonious, the former Defensive Player of the Year could still provide valuable experience at the cornerback position this fall.
Presently the Patriots cornerback depth chart consists of Malcolm Butler, Jalen Mills, Jonathan Jones, Myles Bryant, Joejuan Willams, Terrance Mitchell, and Shaun Wade.
Up until this point, Judon’s Twitter recruitment hasn’t exactly gone as planned in free agency, but you have to admire the consistent effort.
