While there has been some speculation that the club might be willing to entertain offers for the #3 overall pick, it sounds like New England plans on staying where they are next month.

Heading into free agency, it was no secret that the New England Patriots were facing an uphill battle when it came to trying to entice top-tier free agents to come to Foxboro.

“You don’t want to game plan for me. You want to game plan with me,” Drake Maye said at the NFL Combine this week.

“Matthew Slater deserves every accolade someone could receive. He added that Slater was the “best core special teams player in NFL history.”

Maye has a prototypical build for a QB at 6’4, 229, possesses a cannon for an arm, and has above-average athleticism, 9 rushing TDs in 2023.

There are rumors that Bill Belichick could be fired if the team loses on Sunday. Even Mike Reiss of ESPN isn’t totally discounting that one.
