I put too much faith in the offense and in Maye despite them not looking good all postseason. The evidence was there. Alot of us chose to ignore it or make excuses for it. Including me.
You need a legit running game or this kid won't last

Clearly this is not the start of another dynasty. The rebuild needs to resume immediately.

Many including myself predicted Campbell would have a hard time at LT and would ultimately be moved to G. I think that will happen..
I do worry about Maye's psyche after this game
OT should be our first pick in the draft. It’s what killed us tonight.

The only problem with playing with “house money” is that most of the time you lose it all back. But considering most of us would have “settled” for doubling our wins with 8 along with showing a good deal of improvement, instead we land in our 12th Super Bowl! That’s about as good as it can get playing with “house money”!

We had a fabulous year with 17 Wins and 4 Losses which is up there with one of our best overall records. I for one am really looking forward to next season and getting back on the road to another Dynasty!

Maye's pocket awareness and poise were terrible tonight. I think the magnitude of the game got to him.
Dude you made a bet that you would leave when the patriots made the playoffs. You weaseled that into when their season is over and you are still here talking ****. Leave, unless you aren t a man of your word, then face ridicule.
These ******* posts are exactly the reason I made the bet with you

******* mcdaniels thought they were going to be able to run on first and second down and get to 3d and shorts with run/pass availability...but Stevenson ****ing sucks and Henderson is can only make plays when no one is near him. So frustrating because I ****ing knew mcdaniels would come out super conservative, just as they have all playoffs....playing to keep it close and not turn it over. It's super clear that mcdaniels does not trust Maye at all. This would've been a great time to go no huddle to start the game. Keep the defense from subbing. **** you mcdaniels. **** you **** you **** you

The defense was awesome. It all comes back to offensive line. Also need a legit blocking tight end and a good RB
defense was very good but did give up 131 to walker.

Not the way I hoped this would go , but I am still proud of what they accomplished this year . Lots of changes hopefully coming in the off season. Campbell is not the answer at LT, and Henry was another one that let us down big time.
This off season starting right now I am only coming here for Pats news. I refuse to watch any sports news or red anything because everyone will be gloating.
Next season will tell us if Drake is truly going to be a franchise QB. I still have faith in him and think he will get much better with time and experience.

The passing gameplan seemed to rely on us being able to block four and for Drake to drop back and scan the field.

I don't know how in the biggest game of the year we don't make drastic changes when it was abundantly clear that our OL wasn't up to that task.

I also don't know why we seemed to go away from the one offensive thing that seemed to be reliably working even a little - running the ball especially with Rhamondre.

Hard to decide who lost us this game more the OL or the Offensive coaching staff. Drake was not accurate but he was being harassed and players who should have caught balls that hit them in the hands dropped them.

Defense had some poor tackling in key moments that could have shifted momentum and every little window they threw into seemed to work.

Very disappointed. Really didn't expect our offensive staff to see how much the offense had struggled during the entire post season to seemingly come out believing that for no apparent reason our OL was suddenly going to start pass blocking well again.

One possible issue…this early success could stunt future growth.

31st pick in each round isn’t going to get you a blue chipper.

More depth/role players.

This team needs some studs.
I fully expect a hangover next year. Not being a downer just a lot of moving pieces.

We did not have the players to compete with Seattle.

They were better than New England at many many positions.

The Patriots need to upgrade at the following positions:

1. Every position on the OL needs to be addressed
2. Need one stud WR (e have a lot of #2s)
3. Safety to take over from Hawkins and make a real difference
4. 2 DEs who can apply consistent pressure AND set the edge against outside runs
5. Linebackers

We need a lot of players to be the kind of team who can beat teams like this Seattle team.

Great season still. Unfortunately the experts were right on this one, Seattle and that nfc west is just that far above the rest including us. Our road was considerably easier and it showed.

Plenty of blame to go around on this one. Campbell/wilson, maye, jmd. They were all trash today. Special teams was okay but Seattle’s was better.

Defense did its job, they were asked to do too much.

Future is still bright . OL should continue to be a primary focus. They were better this year but you knew this wasn’t getting fixed in one year. Help at edge and lb , depth on the ol and db’s. We’ll be back in the mix.

Protection on the left side of the OL is awful for 4 straight games.

Can't run the ball, can't protect the QB and when they do all the pressure the last month has turned Maye turned into a jittery mess who didn't trust his protection and the whole thing fell apart.

It all starts up front, every problem began with the left side of the OL and snowballed from there.
It was the entire OL

Normally, I would be upset and I would lose sleep over Super Bowl loses but not this year because I never thought for a second New England ever had a shot of winning this game.

Regardless, the offensive line was absolutely abysmal and so it was Maye, this was easily the worst Super Bowl I’ve ever watched

He got bored of shi.ting on Brady so he’s gonna s.hit on Maye now too.

Need an upgraded at TE, Henry's hands have been ****.

My patience for Will Campbell is next to zero at this point.

I want to believe in Maye but hotshot brother, you gotta improve that check down game and you gotta have better pocket awareness.

Gonzo is so ****ing good.

Unreal season with such a frustrating closing. So goddamn annoying.

**** the Seahawks, **** Darnold, **** the refs, **** their ****head loser **** face Madden-Generated-ass coach, **** it
He needs to play better against great defenses to be an elite QB. But frankly, he needs much better protection and skilled receivers.

I don't think a Brady led team ever looked this bad in a SB. Even in the losses.

This isn't a heartbreaking loss. It's a loss that makes an entire organization reevaluate everything and everyone.
They didn't. However, I don't think any of the teams in the Brady era actually were as weak as this one. That said, yes this is a measuring stick loss to evaluate what we need to add.
