It was a much better year than I expected. Crappy SB but I did not expect us to win.

We do it again next year.

Brutal loss boys and girls. I really hope drake maye is that guy but he looked terrible against good defenses, fumbles, sacks, bad picks

On to next year

First off it was a great season. I hope this makes Drake better and doesn’t haunt him. He has many years ahead and this was a tough one.

The OL was an absolute sieve and I blame the glaring weakness that is the Patriots left side. It has struggled all playoffs and the coaches failed to adjust. They just kept throwing those two guys out there by themselves apparently thinking…it will just get better?

Maye made mistakes and missed throws but how much can you blame him? Free rushers, collapsing pockets, receivers struggling to get open. He had no chance.

Campbell needs to be bumped inside and they need to find a LT of the future. Oh and a TE that can block would be helpful.

After this season, homers can remain optimistic, downers can criticize with hopes of being better, and everyone in between can expect to enjoy the ride going forward.

Great season Pats! Proud to be a Pats fan!

Need an upgraded at TE, Henry's hands have been ****.

My patience for Will Campbell is next to zero at this point.

I want to believe in Maye but hotshot brother, you gotta improve that check down game and you gotta have better pocket awareness.

Gonzo is so ****ing good.

Unreal season with such a frustrating closing. So goddamn annoying.

**** the Seahawks, **** Darnold, **** the refs, **** their ****head loser **** face Madden-Generated-ass coach, **** it

Still happy we kept the other AFC teams out of the Super Bowl. I'd hoped that the playoff shortcomings would have been more explained by the weather conditions, but nope. The offense just wasn't playing well. All in all an incredible season.

I mean, it’s far less infuriating than the losses during the dynasty but it’s still pretty depressing.
Our offense sputtered in the post season, it was not the weather, not the defenses. Biggest weakness was and has always been the OL and a shifty WRs who can get open quickly.
Exciting season however and I am not that disappointed because we punched well above our weight all year.

Maye's pocket awareness and poise were terribleusg out tonight. I think the magnitude of the game got to him.

Yes, but the OL didn't help him much. The offense was just outmanned.

I put too much faith in the offense and in Maye despite them not looking good all postseason. The evidence was there. Alot of us chose to ignore it or make excuses for it. Including me.

I kind of hope that he has surgery for his shoulder literally already scheduled for Tuesday because at least that would be easy to blame things on.

Defense is lovely and I hope we pull in more talent for Maye.

Many including myself predicted Campbell would have a hard time at LT and would ultimately be moved to G. I think that will happen..
I do worry about Maye's psyche after this game

Way too conservative on offense. **** mcdaniels. Mcdaniels is a ****ing terrible OC unless he has a run game. Mcdaniels had no answer for Seattle's blitzing. It was a pathetic display. Embarrassment. Complete and utter belt to ass embarrassment. Maye exposed in the playoffs. They really got lucky in the playoffs. Nix injured , Schultz and Nico Collins Out, and Sam diegos oline all hurt.

Viewed in and of itself, definitely not the outcome we wanted...

But holy ****, what a year for year one of the Vrabel-Maye rebuild. Gotta reload and get ready for a tough year next year. Lots of cap space and free agents should want to come here a little bit moreso than last year.

The board will be insufferable for the next week or so, I'm sure. I'm also sure the problems will be dissected to death, and maybe they should be, but it was a hell of a year overall.

And don't let this distract you from the fact....RLKAG

They punched above their weight even getting here, but I still would like to have seen a game instead of the offense looking overwhelmed and like they didn't belong.

Especially because I do believe that young QB's can seriously be affected by losses like this and confidence matters (it's not a surprise that Brady, Montana and Bradshaw all won early and sustained it throughout their careers).

Campbell is another issue. He was awful these playoffs, but he also has been struggling since coming back from that injury, so I wonder how much of it is that.

Josh needs to really work HARD with Maye all off season imo. He needs to be better at reads and recognize pressure. He can't be boom or bust all the time

We will forever go as far as our offensive no longer be goes. Congrats to the Seahawks! Congrats
Sam!

Not the outcome we wanted but a Cinderella season none the less. Congrats to Seattle. Lots to learn. I like our chances of getting back to the big dance a lot more than I like Seattle’s.

Championship level defense.

Offense needs a new LT. Move Campbell at LG, Wilson at center.

Need ILBs and DEs.

Let’s keep in mind that this is and has been year 1 of a rebuild. Will they be back in the Super Bowl next year? Unlikely, but they will keep building towards long term success. It is a great first step.
One possible issue…this early success could stunt future growth.

31st pick in each round isn’t going to get you a blue chipper.

More depth/role players.

This team needs some studs.
