Wish I knew the 6 losing QB’s names. I’m positive none of them are near Maye’s talent
A quick look shows who I think a few of them are, Bo Nix in his first start, 2024 Caleb Williams, Spencer Rattler, Cam Ward and Bryce Young.

Bo Nix wishes he entered the league 23 or under lol

Hey, I like a Pats hype image as much as anybody, but only if they’re rooted in reality. That looks like a fake nonsense quote, and there’s no #6 on the roster.
Eating the troll's breakfast and taking his lunch money. Thanks, Ms . Patchick!

There's a **** ton of them on FB lately. My buddies wife posted one that Maye supposedly said... about turning down big FA money to stay in Foxboro. I didn't say anything, I knew it would make her mad when she knew that she got played by some BS quote.

Yeah Ive seen alot of these too , same format and font. and some of them are negative “quotes” which is even worse. Gotta be careful with these

13 championships in 25 years doesn't dredge up those old thoughts anymore.

So let's try to...

I can't stand the narrative that the Pats have been failures or laughingstocks. It's false. I think Scotty is thinking more of the Red Flops

With this SB appearance the Pats have been in a SB in every decade since the 80s, and it would have been since the 70s if Ben Dreith didn't steal an AFCCG from them in 1976. They were the best team that year and would have easily had their first SB title.

The Pats have been to 20% of all SBs played and won 10% of them. If they win this one they'll have won 12%.

It's great to be back no matter what happens.

There have certainly been some rough times in between but 12 Super Bowl appearances in 40 years is insane.

Well, my friend the Browns fan sent me an "easy schedule" text that showed our schedule and how 11 of the 17 games we played included teams that fired their coaches. The funny thing is the only teams that didn't were the Jets, Bengals and three teams from the NFC Slouch.

I don't blame him for pointing that out. Back in 1987 I'd call him and when he answered I'd say just one thing, Ernest Byner, and hang up. I did it a few times until I started to feel sorry for him.

This time I'll ask him how the Browns are doing.

Definitely rough times but not as bad as it get's portrayed sometimes. I think @Actual Pats Fan may be on to something when he says it's a conspiracy by the NYFL.

I feel blessed having been a fan for every single one of those SB appearances.

That's why I flagged it. I hope we'll all be careful about reposting anything fake here -- we spend enough time fuming over real unimportant quotes (*cough* Cam Newton), we hardly need to waste our energy on made-up garbage.

Ted Johnson was saying that Maye is having a better 2025 season than Brady in 2001.

Johnson went on to say that 2001 Brady was a "Game Manager" and dinked and dunked all the way to a Super Bowl. I recall Brady taking some deep shots, but nothing like Maye this season.
Maye has definitely had an amazing second season and ****, I just looked up TB12 game by game stats and he cracked 200 yards in a game only twice that year in the regular season. I get it, different era, different defense, etc. But that is pretty crazy. Have multiple sub 150 yard games. Maye has definitely done more in his second year. Hopefully without the weather being a major factor, we see Maye pull out some of his regular season magic.

I believe that Darnold will turn the ball over. Im guessing at least 1 INT and 1 fumble. People are really underestimating the NE secondary.

IMO, Stafford and the Rams were the tougher matchup.
Don't forget the front 7, those guys have turned it all the way up to nasty af in the playoffs. They are really strong up the middle and guess where Seattle is weakest, right up the middle. I don't think Seattle will be able to run much and they are going to get pressure on Darnold up the gut.

If somehow the pats pull off the upset in the SB all these negative opinions about pats being a fluke will be completely invalidated

If they get beaten soundly, all the pats accomplishments will be attributed to a gifted weak schedule

To state the obvious alot is at stake for this Patriots team legacy and reputation

Maye started 12 games his rookie year. Going into year 2 of his career, that is a tremendous amount of experience to draw from.

Tom had zero starts and very limited game action his rookie year. To some extent BB and Weis protected him.

I also think the offensive talent Maye has this year was better than the 2001 team.

I don't know. It doesn't seem to matter what the Pats do. They're always the Rodney Dangerfield of dynasties.

I don't feel the pressure for the Pats. I feel like they're playing with house money because nobody expected them to be here. I sure didn't.

Btw, my son and his wife moved to LA and I took a look at the ticket prices on NFL.com, just in case I wanted to surprise them with a couple of tickets. I was the one who got a big surprise. Two tickets for the nosebleed section would cost 13K. Down closer to the field but still on the corner of the endzone would be 20K and mid-field VIP seats range from 50K-65K.

That's a disgusting way to treat the average fans who fill the seats at every stadium all year long.
