Are you watching the game at a big party? Or just with a small group? Or alone?
Are you watching with other Pats fans, or will there be people rooting for the Seahawks?
And what time does the drinking start?

I typically go to a big SB party where everyone roots against the Pats. But none of my friends are throwing one this year, so I'll just be watching at home with my immediate family.
We'll have a small group with my youngest son and his wife, daughter and her boyfriend. My DIL loves to host the parties at their house in Tewksbury. I'll be the only one drinking. Most likely a red wine from Multepuciano.

That reminds me. Our oldest son and his wife just moved out to LA and he was trying to find a bar where he could see other Pats fans. Anyone familiar with the LA Pats fan bars? If so can you help him out? He's a nice guy

I'm in Gillette for all home games. My wife will watch away games with me until I start cursing loudly at the TV (usually a few minutes into the first quarter). I probably will go to a friend's home for this Super Bowl.
Just like Tune I’m at Gillette for all home games, I also watch away games at home by myself or with my wife, the one ‘clock games are by myself because she’s out shopping, laters games she watches. We used to host parties every Super Bowl, those have ended, it will probably be us and our oldest son and his wife, I’ll do the cooking. Once the introductions start I will not sit down, not once.

Not one of my proudest moments was when we lost the first Super Bowl to the Giants and lost the undefeated season, I kicked everyone out of the house, they thought I was kidding, they then realized I wasn't.

I'm watching alone. Every Patriots SB that I attended or threw Superbowl party, the Pats lose. Watching alone and hoping for the Pats to take us to VICTORY!
Thanks for taking one for the team.

It's great to be in this "spot" again

I'll be on vacation in Italy. If anyone knows a simple way for me to watch the game on my iphone, please let me know

I’d much much rather watch alone. I don’t need incessant talking about non-football dealings when the team I follow is in the big game.

I don’t want to watch halftime (non political for me - I just don’t want to watch non-sports BS), I don’t want questions about this and that…

I actually think about you STHs when I'm watching. I've only been to a dozen or so games over the years

I watched the 2007 with my former golf group. I remember leaping up from my chair because I thought Asante caught the INT.

I didn't like the bad vibes that the group showed when the Pats took the lead near the end. One of them even rooted for the Giants to break a leg. I suppose, in a sense, that's what happened.

Does Peacock work overseas? Do a free trial.

Most of the tv critics and sports reporters that were ripping him his first season are now giving him glowing reviews on how much he has improved this season. This offseason he told Fox executives overseeing football that he had to much information in front of him for games so going forward he would prepare for games like he did as a QB, they were fine with it.
I don't listen to the announcers but I'm pretty sure that Brady will figure it out and get good at it.

If the Pats are in it, normally I watch alone and pace. But my oldest kid has finally gotten old enough to become a true Pats fan, so we're doing a family Super Bowl party, during which I will probably pace.
I have two sons and I remember those wonderful days. It's still great now that they're in their 40s. One of my sons played three sports and the other doesn't like sports much, but they've both come to Pats games with me.

Enjoy.

For the SB I'll go to my son's but for regular games I tape them and start watching an hour and a half after it starts.

It sounds like you may be at the same resort I was last year to watch THE Ohio State University win the Natty.
It was fun, and lots of Buckeye fans there.

Embrace the ManaJuana

Yeah, had several ManaJuana's there last year - - felt no pain!

Been going to Buffalo Wild Wings for most all the games since I moved to Houston 20 years ago. Unfortunately I turned vegetarian about 10 years ago, and I have to cram down teriyaki cauliflower or a black bean burger during the game. I'm a creature of habit and I like the people there, so I keep going anyway.

Love this thread ... thanks for doing it!

Here in Helsinki the game starts at half past one in the morning, so it’s not exactly the easiest time to watch. Back in 1997 and the early 2000s I used to go watch the Super Bowl at a local sports bar. These days the couch at home and my cat are good enough company. My partner sleeps upstairs, so I try not to make too much noise

No plans yet, went to a Superbowl party about 10 years ago.. at half time put out a big spread, I did a quickie and then went back to the start of the 2nd half. I was the only one watching the game as everyone else was yakking in the other room. Other games have been with folks who insist on talking and yakking about stuff other than Patriots...
It looks like I will stay at home and watch it with my Pats Fan wife... which is fine with me, no need for distractions..

I think they do. Because I remember watching the highlights afterward where they were synced up to the radio broadcast.
Thanks. I'll check it out. I remeber listening to Gil and Geno announce I think the forst SB win way back when, so maybe they are still offering a local radion coverage of the game. I hope so.

Thanks again.
