Are you watching the game at a big party? Or just with a small group? Or alone?
Are you watching with other Pats fans, or will there be people rooting for the Seahawks?
And what time does the drinking start?

I typically go to a big SB party where everyone roots against the Pats. But none of my friends are throwing one this year, so I'll just be watching at home with my immediate family.

Have you considered taking part in the Gameday Thread here?

For the last 25 years we get together at a friends house with three other couples, me the Pats fan, a Steelers fan, an Eagles fan and a Cowboys fan. Only the Cowboys fan hasn't seen his team win it.

Moved down to SC 4 months ago for the winter

My childhood friend lives down here also and is part of a Pat-fans club that watches the game at a bar every week

Will be at a Charleston SC bar and enjoy the vibes I would have gotten back home

Go Pats

I have a rule I have lived by since the Pats first SB.
If the Pats aren't in, I watch at a party with friends.
If the Pats are in, I watch the game by myself.
I have booked the following Monday off, for 2 reasons:
1. If they win I will be up super late watching/reading all the post game analysis and will do that all Monday as well.
2. If the lose, I won't be able to sleep thinking about the game.
When they lost to the Packers I literally didn't sleep for 2 nights. Just laid awake thinking if they just kicked the ball out of bounds all game they woulda won.

I never watch the pats with other people unless i have no choice. Like when my wife gave birth on a Saturday and was still there Sunday waiting to be discharged (regular season game not super bowl). I did let the nurse in the room but made it clear that i had to concentrate

I host a Super Bowl party every year, Pats or no Pats. We'll have about 20-30 people and can get a little wild.

If they win it's a good time.

We have a room that is pretty long where I'll bring in a couch from another room to form 'mega couch'. We'll have a sectional and two couches side by side....then still have some folding chairs, etc.

By myself, on my own island in Denver, with a bottle of champagne in the fridge. If they don't win, that bottle stays in the fridge until they do. In 2015, I opened a bottle of Moet from 2008 that had been through 2 moves.

This is the way.

I'm in the Middle East and the game starts at about 2:30 AM, I'll probably get up and watch the 2nd half on my laptop. Last time i was here was the 28-3 comeback SB, so maybe that luck holds. LFG!

On my couch, with a lot of awesome food, adult beverages, fast access to the dumper, and 75" of 4K awesomeness.

I will never watch a patriot SB with anyone beyond immediate family.

For the last 25 years any non-Patriot SB I have no excitement for and watch casually because I’m pissed the patriots aren’t in it, as if I am entitled to having them in every year.
And I always end up rooting against a team rather than rooting for one.

I'm jealous of you guys who can actually eat during the Patriots Superbowl. My wife can do it. I can barely hold down water.

Fast access to the dumper is a must though. Patriots Superbowl Sunday is a guaranteed colon cleanse.

This sounds like me. Mrs Rover might pop in from time to time. I’ll watch at home, hopefully poolside here in Jax if it warms up by then.

The one difference was when my younger son was into it. He and I watched SB49 and SB51… I specifically remember telling him at 28-3, “they can still do it, but the Pats can’t give up any more points.”

i watch the game alone.

Much like last two weeks, when it gets tense, i may not be the best host/company...
We go to a friend's house, we are of like mind. We used to host, but we have a woodstove where the TV is, and he has a granddaughter that we would rather not yell at all game.

We're hosting a watch party, never got the chance to before. I'm gonna smoke a brisket, some smoke/fried buffalo wings, cheddar and jalapeno sausage, and smoked queso. I am going in with high hopes and low expectations. This season has been a blessing and a joy to follow already. It would suck to lose the Super Bowl but I'm happy and satisfied as is.

That being said, if we're down 21-3 like we were to the Falcons I'm probably going into the basement to sulk on my own lol

I remember watching SB 51 at the Cask n Flagon in Fenway. When we went down 21-3 you would've thought someone killed my dog. I was dejected, and made even more pissed by the fact that everyone else in the bar was laughing and having a good time. Didn't understand how anyone could be happy in a time like that. I remember taking the T home and watching the rest of the game alone in my apartment while we mounted the greatest comeback of all time.

Since then I've committed to just enjoying the ride, enjoying the moment, and not letting anything I can't control ruin the moment
