TNF: Chiefs LOSE LOL

So what does this game mean? If LAC and KC win out and we do. Does that mean we’re in the wild card?
No. LAC would be wild card, we'd be #2, KC #1. KC has the tiebreak over LAC and you must win the division to get a top 4 seed, regardless of record.

Pittsburgh is a must win. Idk about #1 seed but at the very least we need to secure a first round BYE. Divisional games are generally messy but since we are at home for the last two games I have confidence that we beat both the Bills and the Jets. We are pretty much locked in either #2 or #3 seed with the Texans, and there is a chance the Texans win out (their toughest opponent is an away game against Nick Foles and the Eagles).

So tomorrow's game against Pittsburgh is a must win. It's a shame because had we put away the Dolphins properly, we'd have some leeway.
We're playing Pittsburgh tomorrow????

I’m not counting on it to happen but if we beat PITT. It’s not inconceivable to say that KC loses to the shehawks and LAC loses to the vultures. BAL has the defense to stay in the game and they’re fighting for a spot and the shehawks are also fighting for a spot.

Loser of LAC and KC in the west is the 5 seed. Division loser cannot get a bye

Quick question. What happens if both LA and KC finishes with the same record of 12-4 losing one of their last 2 games? Things should get very complicated!

KC wins division, based upon division record tiebreaker, unless KC's loss is at home to Oakland in game 16 (unlikely)

NE would, if we win out, get #1 over KC based on Head-2-Head

Phillip rivers has been an average qb for most of his career.

The Patriots will win by forfeit if that’s the case!
Apparently Ridley is looking forward to playing against us. Why are former players destroying us this year?

Well I think tonight worked out as well as it could. I’d much rather play in LA than KC. 2 seed wouldn’t be bad at all. Hell the Chargers could lose in the divisional round and we could host the AFCCG.

IF we take care of business.

If the seeding stays the same as it is now wouldn't the Patriots play the Texans in the divisional round & the winner of the Steelers vs Chargers Wildcard game goes to KC? I think either of those teams can beat KC in KC & then the AFC Championship game is in Foxboro (assuming the Patriots beat Houston). Isn't that an ideal scenario?

I've already asked this question in the "What teams to cheer for" thread, so I'll ask it in this one too:
What would we now have to do to secure HFA (besides winning-out) had we won in Miami?

To be fair only Bolden has. Amendola didn't do much in the two games against us. Lewis didn't do anything either in that Titans game

GRRRR. I hate it when we screw ourselves!!!

Well, to be fair; we screwed ourselves more when we rolled into Detroit and Nashville with the "we're the Patriots, we got this no problem" attitude. Losing in Miami is nothing new. Losing to those two teams due to piss poor effort was horrific.
