Dion Lewis strikes back at Andy Hart via Twitter:

Andy Hart reminds me of a high school kid who has no confidence so he overcompensates by acting ultra-****y.

When did "lot in life" become an issue around here?

Yes, I'm rather confused by the outrage. Perhaps I just don't fully grasp the suggestion by Hart?

I wasn't really outraged by the comment, I don't really understand what he even really means by it. I was just pointing out the PFW show has gone down hill.

..

That's something I forgot about when reading this thread and thinking about Hart's comments: He works for the Patriots! If the team was as bad as these guys act like it is, they'd be unemployed due to a lack of interest in the product or staffing cuts.

Is there a chance that, if there was a Cubs Baseball Weekly site/magazine, one of their employees is saying "David Ross needs to stop showing up at these awards shows."
When I used to listen to their podcasts, they would occasionally mention in an appreciative manner the autonomy granted them by the Patriots. Toward the end, I often wondered how closely the team actually monitored them. Lack of censorship and being allowed to speak freely are important, but there should also barriers of good taste on what is said on the air. Hell, I curse, swear and say vulgar things often, but I choose my spots and audiences. Sometimes...;)

I prefer Patriots Playbook anyway. Lots more in-depth info with John Rooke and Erik has good chemistry with John. PFW is now 75% Howard Stern-ish and 25% Pats talk. If I want that I'll turn on friggin Stern. I get why Pats fans listen to them because they feel that they are "in the know" since they work in the stadium, but there are so many other choices out there now. Thing 1 and Thing 2 in the Bob's Discount Basement Dump are not it for me.

Yes, Rooke and Scalavino are good together. They have some other good guests like Mark Daniels, etc. on from time to time. Far better show.

Same here. Just the mention of Hart got me rolling. Not sure about his comment, and don't really care.

Just wait - we'll get to listen to Andy Hart and Paul Perillo offer their inane banter and terrible commentary from the Bob's Discount Furniture Studio brought to you by US Healthcare during preseason games....they make me long for the days of Don Criqui and Randy Cross

I'd call you a moron but that would insult guys with IQs under 70.

Serious, think this through. It is the 4th qtr of preseason game #1. Cross and Criqui don't even mention who is in. You only know if they walk in front of the camera focused on Brady on the sideline.

Hate Hart and Perillo all you want, but they talk about guys that may or may not make the team. You know, the guys who are actually playing if you are still watching in the 4th quarter.

Instead of being told for the tenth time that Brady, Welker, and Moss are good, we hear about that UDFA CB that might squeak onto the practice squad. You know, what pre-season is about for anyone still watching the second half.

Of course they could tell us how Brady, Edelman, and Gronk are good players like Cross and Criqui would have.

I didn't mean to single you out, man. I just meant that I was confused by the outrage in general.

Sort of like Lewis is taking advantage of his popularity even though he really hasnt done anything.

When was the last time Lewis had a game that everyone talked about?

2016 Divisional Playoffs vs. Houston.

Eh, I like listening to PFW twice a week. Andy Hart cracks me up quite a bit, though I admittedly have a juvenile sense of humor. I don't get his hard on for Dion Lewis, but I'm not going to get my arse all puckered over it either.

I think the 3 of them (and Eric) have a good chemistry.

And I still think Dion Lewis could end up being the #1 dynamic RB weapon this year now that he is a year removed from knee surgery.

When did "lot in life" become an issue around here?
I made the thread due to Dion's response. You can't say it's something that you see everyday.

Doesn't seem very insulting. I guess you could argue it was a slight, but unless he has a history of ****ting on Lewis and being a passive aggressive **** (I don't follow this Hart guy, so I don't know), I think it was just a casual observation. Not sure why I'm even wasting time analyzing this.

Seems to me like "taking advantage of his lot in life" = "taking advantage of the cards he's been dealt".

You guys all are a bunch of fugazi's, do you know that me and New Edition go way back?

Jokes aside, it seems like they always take calls from the same handful now. It's almost comical/painful now when Nick Baby Love calls...

Anyone saying they want Criqui back doesn't have a very vivid memory.

Before you get all butthurt I had forgotten about that game.

Lewis played good but he used to be the talk of the NFL.

How would you know what the "talk of the NFL" is if you can't even remember your team's playoff game 6 months ago?

It's fun watching someone who doesn't know crap about a subject try to pontificate about it.

Lemme guess....next thing out of your mouth is either "I don't care, I can't stand it!" or "Pitchers and catchers report in 6 weeks". :p
