I do not believe that any decision on backup QB will be made before they know what they have in all their potential backups. Brady's durability has been nothing short of amazing, but trading away your best insurance policy (Cassel) is not something I see BB doing unless he gets blown away in camp by the other two QBs. Besides, I do not think Cassel's trade value would be that high.

The Cassel has trade value posts seem very similar to the Rohan Davey has trade value posts of a few years back.

The way I see it is Cassel has the most experience amongst the backup QBs so they will keep him this year as the #2. O'Connell gets the #3 and Gutz goes back to the PS.

Cassel will probably be traded. Given that he's had the "belichick" touch by being drafted by him, that alone makes him worth a 1st round pick.

I predict he makes the team. I also have a gut feeling Brady will get hurt week 1 against KC..... something like torn ACL/PCL and Cassel winds up our starter.
