Rather than clutter this page with several threads, thought it best to have one multi-purpose thread for today's happenings. Please feel free to add anything you hear or see that's draft related. Post the sources if you're able.

Cowboys trade Fasano, Ayodele to Dolphins
---FOXSports.com has learned that the Dolphins have struck a deal with the Cowboys for tight end Anthony Fasano and linebacker Akin Ayodele.
In exchange for the two players, the Dolphins sent a fourth-round pick to the Cowboys, according to a report on the Dallas Morning News Web site.
When contacted, Fasano confirmed the trade, but details are still being gathered.

According to league sources the Redskins have at least two teams very interested in moving up to the 21st pick if certain players are available, and I continue to think the Skins will make every attempt to move this pick. Depending on the board, they just might be able to do so.
As for making the pick, speaking to lots of people around the league, and had two guys tell me no way Mayo and Harvey are both on the board at 21, and one other scout was adamant that Mayo would be there at 21, but no way on Harvey. Mayo is generating a lot of interest in the 15-20 range, Detroit at 15 could be a very real possibility, but he's quietly risen in stature in Washington.
The Skins scheduled a last minute visit with him recently, league sources said, specifically so owner Dan Snyder could meet with him personally, and Tampa Bay could turn to him as well, one pick before Washington.
If they're both gone I believe the Skins do the prudent thing and take Merling.
Got a decent amount of email about safeties in recent days, particularly Miami's Kenny Phillips. Speaking to coaches and scouts, several people told me they actually think he'll be the second safety chosen, behind Tyrell Johnson of Arkansas St. Two guys were deadest that Johnson could go as high to Philly at 19.
